To be honest dh had the productive day Hairy under my supervision 😂😂😂
Does a pale grey carpet sound ok with lilac walls? It’s only a small box style room and has 2 z beds in that fold out when the children come to stay. It takes all the floor space up when the beds are down except for 2 floor to ceiling IKEA shelving systems- 1 is quite deep the other a normal bookcase depth. These house the children’s toys and books and my craft things and books. No clothes storage or dressing table space. The children keep their clothes in parents room when they come. We have to do the best with the space we have and z beds are the only way we can fit everyone in when they stay. It hasn’t been decorated since dd and ds moved out best part of 20 years ago. I want it girly for them but something I can adapt as they grow up. Hence the lilac walls with bunting which can be changed easily as and when necessary 😂😂😂it tickles me how they class it as their room 😂😂January spends - £587.583 -

Thanks Beanie and Hairy - I like the idea but dh turned his nose up - but I let him choose the colour of carpet in our bedroom and I’ve never liked it 😏January spends - £587.583

Lilac and grey sound lovely.I was imagining your walk again before, the Greggs will forever be a reminder of you. Sounds like your off piste bit was interesting. Glad to hear the next bit of house sorting is coming along. Are you going to make the bunting for the GD's ?Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

I agree with Hairy! Don't let DH choose the colour scheme! Unless it's for his own man cave then he can run riot!🤣
Lilac and grey with bunting sounds lovely and the DGC will love it!💕Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Sounds like you enjoyed your unusual day out 😁 Also agree don't let DH choose colour schemes - some men are good at matching colours but most aren't. My DS still thinks of our spare room as his room. He moved out about 15 years ago and 2 weeks after he'd gone we turned it into a gym 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
