If that’s the Mr M offer, that Prosecco is really nice. I make my own pizza using extra large naan bread as the base - Regal Bakery - 3 massive naan breads for £2 in Mr M.

Sounds like you’re getting some lovely walks and good to rediscover what’s on your doorstep.

Yes those naan are lovely - I think they’re the ones I get when we have curry. I’d never thought of making them into pizza though
Ive just been watching The Sound of Music on utube. I’d forgotten about the Andrew Lloyd Webber shows being shown and missed Cats last week. Anyway The Sound of Music is my ALL time favourite....I’ve seen it on stage lots of times been to song-alongs and must know the film word for word. I’m a great Lloyd Webber fan too......but he’s messed with the sequence of the songs and it’s just not right....
I think we’ll be having the pizza tomorrow. Dh made pulled pork yesterday and there’s plenty left for today too.

My apologies to Andrew Lloyd Webber - The Sound of Music I watched was on Let The Show go on and not a Lloyd Webber site, which I thought it was. Lovely singers but they shouldn’t have messed with the order of the songs.
We’ve been painting fence panels today - 3 coats on both sides of 2 panels so far. 2 more to go. It’s been so hot we have painted a coat between us, come in for a drink - gone back out to put another coat on......It’s not the same make I usually get and is a lot runnier and a more vivid green. Hope it’ll look ok when it’s in place. Whatever it is it’ll be better than what’s up already.
We are going back to the place with the nice views we visited last week with a picnic for tea. I’ve just been and bought some nice bits to eat 😀 This time we will take some binoculars - we think we can see our friends road way into the distance - we will fInd out if it is soon.

I wish I could come to Scotland and have coffee and cake at No 98 with you Beanie.
It’s a year this week since I went off work to have my op on my arm. I had it done on June 10th but had the school holiday before that. I went back full time after a phased return at the end of January, had a half term holiday Feb and finished again 20 something of March for the lockdown.  So I’ve only worked full time for about 7 or 8 weeks in the past year 😨🤔🤪 it’ll be a shock to my system when we do go back. I could happily finish for good. I’d happily amuse myself.
I haven’t done any more fence painting - I could feel my elbow giving me agro so we called it a day. We took a picnic up to the place we went the other day and looked at the scenery through binoculars- it wasn’t as hazy as last time and we could see the mountains of Wales in one and lots in between the hills of the Peak District in the opposite direction . The tall building of Manchester looked quite eerie as there was still a bit of heat haze and the tops looked as if they were coming up through clouds. It was a lot quieter than last week too. We drove home through the country side rather than the motorway - about a half hours drive. It was just lovely to get out.

I’m looking forward to some things post lockdown like going on holiday, seeing my GKs and friends and going shopping/to the pub but not particularly looking forward to going back to work properly, although we will be encouraged to work from home most days of the week. From recent experience with the broken leg, it was very daunting when I finally had to go back to work properly but after a few days I was right back in the swing of it- short lived though as we went on Covid lockdown not long after 🤣😩

You’re both so right - our old routines are quite hard to imagine. We were saying today how it’s made us appreciate our home and what we have near it....if we were both off together we almost felt compelled to go out for a ride somewhere  to do something. I think that has arisen from my being off work on the sick for long periods, unable to do much and dh wanting to take me out for a change of scenery and it’s just turned into a case of we’re off so what are we going to do today. We have both actually quite enjoyed pottering at home. Dh is contemplating not going back to work....although I bet he does.
I’ve finished painting the fence panels we have. Next door have one that he’s cutting to fit a couple of small spaces - once he’s done that I’ll paint it and he’ll put them all in place for us. Then we need 4 and a bit panels for across the back of the garden - so we plan 2 trips to B&M to bring 2 at a time back in the shopping trolley - not sure what we’re doing about the bit yet 😳. Next door on the other side will help us put them in (it’s her mums house) Then I’ll repaint the ones I painted last year along the other side of the house........and we’ll finally have decent fences all around the garden. We’ve been intending to do this for at least 3 years...... tomorrow I’ll rest though as my arm is aching now.
We were telling next door our plans for making the kitchen smaller and adding a utility room. He’s taken our initial plans and will design us a kitchen.....I’d forgotten he’s a kitchen designer - he’s offered us a discount on the units and fitting  but said even with the discount it’s very expensive where he works but he has trade access to another place which we can use if we so desire. 👍👍
    I’ll sleep well tonight as I’m shattered...night all 🌛⭐️
