Thanks for the reassurance about people needing techie help. I build it up and think I’m the only one who can’t do things. I’ve been doing a bit of work this morning but just stopping for a cuppa. I think I’ll make some old fashioned paper resources in a while for a break from the screen.
Better check my work emails.....I wish they’d e mail the same time every day so we can see what we need to be doing - but it really varies. Ah well I suppose we need to be available all day and that’s why they vary them......January spends - £587.584 -

I loved reading about your chippy supper. I love the smell of fish and chips even though I don’t eat them. I must be the only person in the world who doesn’t like chips 🤣You definitely need to factor in some screen breaks when working from home.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I do like sweet potato chips though - I know it’s not the same 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

mmmmm- SA I like sweet potato chips too, I’ve done a recipe with sweet potato with tomato, feta cheese and oregano on top - it’s delicious. I could just eat that now.....funny how we crave things when we think of them. Sorry for getting you thinking of chips Beanie.
Dh went to the newly found local bakery for bread today - they are doing a roaring trade.
They'd nearly sold out but he brought some lovely cherry scones back. They were advertising for the loan of a bike trailer so they can deliver to more folk who are isolating.
Another frustrating day working on the computer. I think a lot of the problem is my old basic computer was never intended for me to work from - just play a few games and do my banking. I haven’t got word - just open office which I’m not used to using. Folk are posting links and I’m having to get dh load some programmes on and open them for me. But in the grand scheme of things it’s ok....I’ve got food in my cupboards, a roof over my head, and a job I’m still getting paid for.....so a few computer niggles are nothing in comparison.....I’m holding onto that thought 🤞☺️January spends - £587.584 -

My car went for its MOT yesterday. It needed a couple of bits - a new tyre and a new wiper blade. Dh would have usually given it the once over but we just took it round. £150 and insurance is due next week too. Makes me wonder whether we really need 2 cars but once back at work I suppose we will.January spends - £587.583

It’s good that some local businesses are getting around things and managing to still trade. We have a lovely coffee shop/cafe only recently opened at the end of my road who are able to do takeaway deliveries at weekends. They deliver all the ingredients ready made up to pop in the oven and all the sides to create a meal.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I should be having a tidy up today but I got distracted counting coins in my loose change box. I had over £50 which I am pleased with. I found a £2 coin which looked a bit different - a slave trade anniversary coin.🤪 So I googled it - I got a tad excited when some were going for hundreds of pounds on eBay.....then I found some for £4. I think I might hold on to it....you never know it might be worth something one day 👍🤞🤞😀January spends - £587.583
