It's funny how family and friends stay young in our heads.  I had quite a lot of cousins - we are a big family and my sister who is 57 is the youngest and my oldest living cousin is 80!  And some of the eldest cousins have now sadly passed away. ☹️  But in my head we are all so young!  It's weird.

I'm glad you are enjoying your work and a thumbs up on the weight lost!😀

GRrrrrr - had problems logging in yesterday. It asked for my password and I must have entered it wrong. Sooooo frustrating as it’s not the only technical thing I’ve had trouble with this week I gave up and walked away 😳 I opened a Twinkl account last week (a fun school resource site) I can send some things to gdd and I can also use it for work. It works out just over a £1 a week....I used to have an old free account with them years ago which messed things up  I couldn’t access my new account....all I can say is thank goodness for my technical assistant dh. The computer nearly went through the window. He spent ages sorting it out for me.
Not much to report really. I did a lot of work from home yesterday. Research and resource making plus my War Horse book arrived so I had an early night reading. I’ve nearly finished but there are another 11 books by the same author....quite looking forward to reading them even though they are actually children’s  books.
Its a beautiful day here. I’m going into the garden - we’ve been asked to record a message for the children from school so I’m going to do it in the garden with the train going around me. I hate doing things with me in screenshot 🤪🤪

  • We've been asked to decorate a word and then have someone take a photo of us holding it, to make a video message for the children to put on the school website. So that's my art project for the weekend 😁.
It's a lovely idea to record your message in your lovely garden railway. The children will all want to come and visit you 🤣 .

Hope your train recording was successful milann and you're enjoying War Horse. I loved both the stage production and the film but have never got around to reading the book.
The weather here is lovely today - I hope you're spending some time in your garden.

The message to the children went down well. They liked my fairy garden and train. It did look pretty good even though I say it myself.
I’m not sure what happened to weekend. On Friday evening we ventured out on a walk to check in on Mummy Goose - she is still sitting on her nest of 5 eggs. Then we walked onto a chippy - I’ve been fancying fish and chips for a couple of weeks now....probably because I know most places are shut. Anyway we walked and ordered fish and chips between us (massive portions) we were very naughty and sat on a bench whilst we ate them....I had wipes etc to make sure we were safe and we sat down less than 10 minutes. We closed our eyes and visualised the sea instead of the main road that runs through the heart of England (A6)  - it didn’t work 😂😂 anyway I enjoyed the chippy tea and we walked home again. 4 miles all in all so a good days walking.I needed that  rest though.
Saturday was a cleaning day, shopping and a lovely hour in the garden. Sunday I went and took shopping and did some cleaning for relative. It 3 months since the accident now and although he’s making progress he’s still having some problems with movement. But it’ll take a while.
I’m working from home today. I’m not on this weeks rota at all. So more research - this time refreshing my makaton signing. So I’m quite happy with that again.

I am craving chips from the chip shop, I do crave fish sometimes but I'm vegetarian so don't t actually eat it anymore, it doesn't stop me missing it though, one of my local chippys is closed and I would be surprised if he didn't re open as he must be nearing retirement, the other one is still open but I don't like that one, they serve their chips in box not in paper which is just wrong and there is no social distancing going on in the shop at all, customers are all crammed together on the seats waiting for their food 😟

The chippy was really well organised. You went in - gave your order and paid with contactless card - no cash at all. They had a table in front of the counter so you couldn’t stand too close. Then you had to wait outside until you we’re called in. There were a couple of people outside waiting but everyone kept their distance.
I'm getting to the stage where I never want to see another computer - I’ve had a couple of days working from home where we’ve had to research a lot and follow links which haven’t worked for me. I’ve felt a right Wally (along with a couple of others) and had to keep asking for help. I’ve been knitting of an evening as I couldn’t face another screen. There is no way I could do clerical work. I do think I’ve done too much knitting as my arm kept me awake last night, it keeps stiffening up on me - I think I need to do some stretching exercises again like I did at physio....I suppose it’s because I’m not using my arm as I usually do and I’m not swimming. Plus sitting with it bent all day at a computer isn’t helping.
It’s been a chilly and rainy day today - we went out for a quick walk just to get out of the house.
We have watched the  complete set of Gavin and Stacey over the last few days  - dh didn’t like it when it was first on tv so we didn’t watch it. He loved it on catch up though - but he watches most things on catch up 😳🤔

I sympathise about staring at a screen, that's sometimes why I don't post for days. By the time I have finished a days work, I can't stand looking at another screen.
Don't be bothered about needing help with IT , I still shout for help, can't do that at the moment have to phone IT.

Good idea to get a skip, lots in driveways near me. Hope the GKs are ok.

I have to agree with you both on the screen watching. I've felt like chucking the WFH laptop out of the window a couple of times over the last few days!😱. I've been employed in an office for most of my working life but I still have to reach out to IT and the younger members of staff for techie help sometime as well.
