The wildflowers should look lovely when they flower milann.  It's a nice idea to brighten up an area that is difficult to access with the seeds as it won't need much maintenance. 🌸🌸

Phantom was showing earlier today on Sky Arts so I recorded it and have set it to record Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake tonight also. I love both of these productions and have seen them both several times over the years.  Hopefully it won't be too long before we can all get back to visiting the theatre and concerts. ☹️

I'm glad to hear you bumped into your friends (well not really bumped into during these social distancing times!).  It must have been nice to speak to a friend in person rather than through tech. 😀

  • The wildflower seeds sound a lovely idea Milann :).

It doesn't sound like you'll be needed at school then. At my school all staff are going in via the three week rota; teachers and support staff. It must be different at every school.

I’ve worked from home today. I’ve been researching SEND resources and also have to familiarise myself with some of the literature the children will be doing in English. So it’s my kind of week this week.....the things I enjoy most about school. I had a long chat on the phone with a friend from work this evening.
I’ve been a tad worried about my eldest gdd - she has a temperature, feels ‘tingly’ and has been under the weather. She hasn’t had a cough though. I keep telling myself all the usual childhood illnesses are still around. Dd is keeping me posted. I wish they were nearer but then I tell myself it wouldn’t matter even if they were as I couldn’t go around to see them. Worrying times. You watch she’ll be dancing around tomorrow and has had us all worried over nothing. 🤞🤞

We tend to forget the normal bugs are still doing their rounds. Fingers crossed not anything sinister 🤞 I absolutely adored English literature/language when I was at school- I even wanted to teach it at one stage. We are all on a steep learning curve regarding this WFH malarkey.

Sending good vibes to your little GD.   I'm sure she'll be fine and it'll be one of the usual bugs that children pick up.
Glad to hear your work week is just the kind you like. 😀

Thankfully gdd is no worse - still up and down but no cough at all. Fingers crossed it stays that way. They’ve not been anywhere to catch anything since the schools closed - just in the  garden and local walks - they’ve not even been to a shop. So fingers crossed it’s nothing other than one of the usual bugs you wouldn’t even bother about usually 🤞👍
Another nice day working at home. I’ve ordered a Michael Morpurgo book box including War Horse. I could have borrowed one from work but in reality I don’t know who has handled it before me... I’m taking no chances......and gdd loves her books so it will come in for her when she is older. I’m quite looking forward to reading War Horse....then will look into making resources linked to the books for some of the SEND children in school.
Ive been asked to put some info together to champion some of the therapies we use at work so I can be one of the first ports of call should we have children needing them. I’m quite pleased with that idea and can easily fill my time making the resources we don’t get chance to make at work.
I spent an hour in the garden sitting on a cushion scraping flaky paint out of decking with the end of a spoon...the spoon handle fits perfectly in the recesses...I know how to live 😂😂😂 I’ve had the decking paint a couple of years - it might be the year this year it actually gets used 👍
I’ve great ideas about decking another small area and joining it to the ramp we already have.....but.....my role will be purely supervisory. The trouble is dh doesn’t share my visualisation of the area 😂😂😂😂😂Could be very interesting😂😂😂😂😂😂

You just visualise and let him do the work, that’s the way forward 🤣
