So after much cursing dh plumbed my washing machine in.....apparently it has a different sized pipe to my old machine and he had a struggle getting it to attach to the pipe work attaching it  to the taps.....so a jubilee clip came to the rescue.....I hope it doesn’t decide to leak 😳😱 I’ve done one wash - it was good to be able to put washing on again.
I went out for a walk and en route posted the Easter goodies to the gks. It’s the first time I’ve used Hermes and it was much cheaper than the last parcel I sent by Royal Mail. Cost me just over £4 - providing it arrives ok - I’ll certainly use them again.
I should weigh in tomorrow but I’m not expecting a lot as I’ve slipped and been nibbling but in the grand scheme of things it’s nothing to worry about.
Ive just seen the news 6000 plus families have lost a family member.....sad times. Makes me thankful for my lot. 😌 Hopefully  I’ll be hugging my family once this is all over....in the meantime technology is a great substitute 🤞🤞 Stay safe everyone 🤞🤞

    That’s the hardest part Beanie.
I’ve been waiting in for a delivery - something dh has ordered for his workplace - not that I could go far but I haven’t even been into the back garden. Should have been here between 8.30 and 11.....I hope it’s not been taken to the wrong address as sometimes the google maps send folk to the wrong address across a railway line from us.
Bored today and reverted to comfort eating....not good. Need to give myself a kick up the backside and get a project.

I had an Easter card I wanted to post to a friend in my hand earlier this week.....I’ve had the house upside down looking for it - no idea what I’ve done with it....all I can think is it’s in the parcel I’ve sent to my gks 🤪🤪I’m losing the plot. So I went into my craft stash - it hasn’t been used much for a good few years and I spent a pleasant morning card making. I’ve finished a card which I’d partially made. I was quite pleased with it. We had a walk to the post office to send said card on it’s way. I suspect it’ll arrive after Easter now as the week has crept up on me - how did it get to Thursday already.  In fact how have 3 weeks gone by since I finished work. There was nobody in the post office - I walked straight in and bought the bottle of milk I needed rather than going to a supermarket too. We had a lovely walk back through the park and around the pond. I could actually get very used to being at home.
Thats been my lot for the day really along with a couple of phone calls to family and a friend.
Stay safe and have a lovely if different Easter (insert chocolate munching bunny)

Forgot to say I had a telephone physio appointment today - a bit of a waste of time really as she is referring me back to the consultant until he has done the next MRI scan as she doesn’t want to give me anything that might aggravate my hip....told me to use it without overdoing it.....

I had a telephone physio appointment too - what a waste of time. To be honest my leg is 100% better now anyway so don’t need it.
