So I’m aching in parts of my body I’d forgotten I had. I ended up in relatives garden doing some weeding. Said relative loves the garden but is finding it hard going atm - so I went outside -on my own mostly but relative on opposite side of the garden some of the time - so social distancing rules applied 👍 I turned one bit over. I was so chuffed as it’s the first time I’ve actually been able to do any ‘proper gardening’ since my arm op. I have to take the lead with my opposite arm still BUT I did it 😀 then thought I’d just do a bit more....then a bit more......then I might as well finish. It looks really good and I felt tired but had a great sense of achievement. It’s nearly all raised beds so is now ready to have veg seeds planted and will just need light weeding. So I’ve dosed myself up today as I know I’ve used both my arm and my hip. I’ll get my wages in veg once it’s planted up and growing He should be able to manage it himself now it’s had a good weed 👍😀
I expected I’d sleep well as I was shattered - but I woke every hour so - I couldn’t get comfortable particularly on my hip.....so I know I did too much but you have to live 🤔 I’ll hopefully get back into my good sleep routine tonight. 🤞January spends - £587.582 -

I expected my washing machine to be delivered between 1 and 4. I made a cuppa and settled down to watch Belgravia on catch up at 5 to 1 - so I didn’t get distracted and miss hearing the door. Spot on 1 pm the door went and it arrived - they must have been waiting around the corner 😂. I didn’t think they were going to bring it in the house with the new virus measures.Anyway I took them around the back of the house which has better access- a ramp and no steps. Since it was literally a couple of foot to the washer from my back door they agreed to take the old washer and left the new one just inside the door. They didn’t mention the old washer needed to be by the door for collection in the literature they sent out.....but it’s gone now and my new one is there waiting for dh to plumb in.January spends - £587.581
