Milann's life keeps getting in the way.......

SSG there were some bungalows with 2 bedrooms cheaper but i need 3 bedrooms when family come to stay plus they’d need completely gutting and I’d still be £100,00 short. So we reckon we’ll be better off where we are. I’m not looking forward to the upheaval whilst we do the work. Next step is finding a builder 😱
Good to see you Sunshine - hope you had a lovely break and didn’t get snowed in. It took me over half an hour just to cross the pyramid roundabout.

Today’s journey to work was much better - less than 10 minutes. I didn’t even stop at traffic lights on the big roundabout of doom where I sat for half an hour or more yesterday.I’d been quite good SW wise until I had pancakes - ah well - 20 meals on plan is better than I’ve done for a long time. How much damage can pancakes with lemon and sugar do 😂😂😂😂😱😱😱.....lots I suspect 😂😂😂
i volunteered this evening at a club for young folk with additional needs - it was lovely to have been missed as I wasn’t there last time. I had lots of hugs. There’s always a lovely atmosphere and lots of laughs. Puts life into perspective 👍
A NSD today - that’s 2 so far this week.
Must remember to put my swimming bag in the car tomorrow as I want to go for a swim after work.January spends - £587.583 -
Not much to report - plodding on.
A NSD and I made a cheese and onion pie for dh and not a crumb passed my lips 😇January spends - £587.582 -

Setting small targets is a great idea. Don't forget a goal is just a dream without a planI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Big slice of cold cheese and onion pie jumped into my mouth all by itself when I came in from work.....closely followed by a couple of chocolate digestives 😈 - pity they don’t have a slipped or completely fallen halo emoji. In my defence I was starving and very cold....but this won’t help me loose 2 lb this week - which is what I secretly wanted.
A NSD again.Dh had been planning the utility room/toilet - spent ages on it and his computer crashed. At this rate it’ll take us months and I want it doing yesterday.
Things are finally looking up on the inheritance I’ve been expecting and there may be a small interim payment in the next couple of weeks 🤞 There’s still a lot of ‘discussion’ about final figures - could still take years at this rate - my MIL will be turning in her grave. All I can say is beware of unscrupulous financial advisors and trust funds.......I think the solicitors will be the real winners in all of this 😡January spends - £587.582 -
I'm so pleased to hear you may at least be getting something in the interim from MIL's estate milann. Hopefully it will go towards reducing the house renovation bill! Positive vibes for a speedy resolution to the whole debacle. 🤞Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

SA - I like that saying - a goal is just a dream without a plan.....that’s me.....great ideas and expect it to fall in place. I always seem to set myself up to fail though. When I plan....something usually gets in my way and my plans don’t happen.....but things don’t always fall in place either🤔🤔🤔😳 Think that’s why I never plan too far ahead.....
SSG Yes that’s what’s I’m hoping - the house renovations will be mostly taken care of....but that might be wishful thinking as I’ve no idea how much either will be 😳January spends - £587.583
