Beanie, my school wonβt let staff work fewer days as they want continuity for the children. A lady tried last year and there was a lot of upset about it. Iβve got a pretty cushy number to be honest there, so donβt really want to move again.

I was wondering if the water levels would rise by the water near you Beanie. Thereβs a lot of water in that there lake. As long as it hasnβt reached the coffee shop......
One broke lady I think thatβs my problem - Iβd already started my countdown to retirement then had to start counting over again when I was half way through. It doesnβt help that quite a few of my friends have finished early as they have husbands with very well paid jobs....missed my way there - but I wouldnβt swap my hubby - wouldnβt get much for him ππ I should be happy Iβve got a job I enjoy most of the time and a hubby that looks after me fantastically - we look after each other πEnough of my moaning....
I left home a 8.25 this morning for a journey which can be a quick as 8 minutes if the traffic lights are on your side-usually takes about 15 minutes. I walked into work at 9.45 π±π± An hour and 20 minutes π±π± Thereβd been an accident somewhere on the motorway network nearby, an accident in my local town and another on the main road into work. It was complete gridlock. The children should have been swimming this morning but the coach didnβt make it in time. Itβs a good job a lot of staff live locally and walk into work as I wasnβt on my own being late.
Iβve given myself a good talking to and need to start setting targets again so this week
- loose or maintain at SW
- 4 NSD s
- use gym twice
- do some housework
They are pretty vague targets but thatβs all I can manage atm - anything else is a bonus π€

They're all good, sensible targets milann. π
Bungalows are expensive in my area too. Most of them were built quite a few years ago and there aren't that many of them so they're at a premium. Nice gardens too. Β Mostly flats seem to be going up these days.ΒFinally Debt Free! - July 2016 π

I am another one talking about retirement, probably at about 63 , but depends on my private pension at 60 , I will be part time hopefully then. Glad to hear DS is starting his recovery that must be a relief , I hope the next scan and ensuing results are all good .ΒThe traffic is always horrendous when there is a crash on that motorway and 2 other incidents won't have helped .ΒHave a good week.ΒLife is an adventure, never stop exploring.4
