Half day SA - I’m sure I’d have been ok for a full day but they won’t let me :o
My gdd is 3 today but has been poorly with a high temp and has spent the day throwing up...at least she enjoyed her birthday party on Saturday then started being poorly yesterday. I hope they don’t share it around for Christmas.
Well I ended getting myself in a right old tizzy today. I’d cleaned my false tooth and came down for brunch before I headed out for work. I came to put my tooth in and couldn’t find it anywhere. I retraced my steps - I’d put washing in and put some stuff int he kitchen bin.....so I went through the bin - waited for washer in case I’d had teeth in my hand and put in machine. Checked the floors, dressing table, dressing gown pockets - no sign of them. I had to go to work without my tooth - felt a right wally as I’ve lost (then found) 2 sets and had to go to the dentist to buy more.....and it’s been just before Christmas each time. It was on my mind all afternoon - I ended up with a headache - went through the bins again when I came home - I went to the loo at about 6 o’clock this evening - there they were safely on the bathroom shelf laughing at me. I’d looked in there at least a dozen times, must have been on my mind about keeping them safe as I took the washing downstairs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: only me - these blooming teeth will be the death of me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It’s still going well at work. Tomorrow will be a challenge- dh is off work and taking his sister out to a garden centre which is noted for its lovely Christmas displays - I’d rather go with just him though so maybe next year. I’m doing a full day tomorrow as I’m not in on Friday as I’m at physio. Then that’s it for 2 weeks.
I need to give the house a once over as I’ve not done any tidying for a good while.
Last night we had a Christmas party at a place I volunteer- a singer from X factor came - they loved him and he was so lovely with them spent time with them as well as putting on a show. There was plenty of food of which I couldn’t resist- SW isn’t looking good.

  • Good to hear things are going ok at work. I think I know where your DH and sister are going how nice for them.

At least you will be finished for the holidays after tomorrow, I am working some of Christmas.
