So my resolutions will be pretty much the same as the previous years BUT this year I want to actually do them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
- keep on top of finances - stay debt free:money:
- keep active and mobile by swimming/gym and walking most days
- get my weight down at least 1 1/2 stone
- stay positive and have fun
If I can do these things Milan’s worl should be a happy one.
Oh and to stay away from hospitals :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Happy New Year and Happy New Decade Milann. I hope you've had a fabulous time with your family. I can't wait to have grandkids so I'm very envious!
Those New Year resolutions are spot on and very achievable. I wish you the best of luck in keeping to them and am happy to offer a swift but very gentle kick up the bum if you find yourself strayingxx

Happy New Year everyone......and breathe......
It’s been a manic fun filled few days. We’ve loved having the children. Dd bought us tickets to the local panto which was lovely. Although front row circle tickets with a strong willed just 3 year old brandishing a fairly substantial flashing, spinning light up wand - which they were encouraged to wave about didn’t do much for Grandmas nerves :rotfl: I had images of poor folk below ending up knocked out with it  But everyone survived the experience and much fun was had. We went to The Sealife centre, visited my ds house for a meal and it’s a wonder I’m not hoarse the amount of stories I’ve read.
They didn’t leave until 5 yesterday - :rotfl: the house looked like a hurrricane had passed through. We set too and took the decorations down and sorted downstairs out. Upstairs can wait until another day as I’m doing NOTHING today except watch catch up tv and having a nosey on here.
Feel free to give me a kick up the behind if I slack in my resolutions- I need to do them this year. Saying that we have some food left over which isn’t exactly SW friendly which will be eaten today (I refuse to throw good food away) So tomorrow is the start of my New Year.....January spends - £587.580 -
Your Christmas sounds so lovely Milann
. All that precious time with the DGC is priceless and it's so nice sharing trips to the panto, etc, with them and seeing their excitement.

Hairy it was lovely thanks.
My January targets will be taken a week at a time.
January Week 1
- get back on track with SW
- use gym membership 3 times
- use food from home rather than buying unnecessary stuff and eating out
- tidy as I go rather than leaving them to mount up
- put money in 1st of 12 Christmas cards ready for next year for great nephews and nieces.January spends - £587.580 -
Oh and do some knitting for gks is another target this week.
I’ve been quite amazed with elder gd who has constantly asked how my arm is and when I’d be able to knit her cardigans again. I honestly thought she wouldn’t want Grandmas cardigans as she grew up. She has worn the recent one I finished in November - a lot - in fact whenever it’s not in the wash - telling all who comment on it ‘Grandma can knit again now her arm is getting better’......so I’d best get a wriggle on before she doesn’t want them anymore :rotfl:January spends - £587.580 -
Great to hear you had a fab time with your family. Even I have been knitting after reading that you were doing so much.
Your goals sound very achievable , hope works goes ok this week.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0
