Milann's life keeps getting in the way.......

Thanks all - I’m hoping the results aren’t what’s expected, doctors tell us too much now, I think - they could do tests and wait for the results before they say what it is to avoid the worry. But I suppose they have to give every possibility. Fingers, toes and everything else crossed.
I’m really pleased that I lost another 1LB this morning- I’d have been happy with a maintain considering the meals I had out last weekend for dh birthday. I’m not setting myself up to fail by saying I want to loose a certain amount this week - just as long as I don’t gain I’ll be a happy Milann.
I went to the GPs with my hip today - it was a different doc to the one I saw last time. He’s sending me for physio- suggested podiatry inserts - I had new ones a couple of weeks ago....and anti inflammatory meds which I’ve taken for years. I went to a physio years ago who gave me acupuncture- I was very sceptical but it did the trick. Doc doesn’t think it’s available anymore though on NHS but sending me to the physio anyway.January spends - £587.580 -
I think the accapuncture depends very much on who you see.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Hope your friend had good news. Physio May help your hip. Does your local hospital have a hydrotherapy pool. My mum is having physio in the pool, exercises etc. She has 6 weeks worth , seems to be helping her.? Well done on weight loss .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0

I’m not sure about hydro therapy at my hospital Sunshine. Yes I agree Beanie - I was lucky with the physio I went to last time - must have been 7 /8 years ago which also coincided when I lost best part of 2 stone which has crept back on - so fingers crossed for a physio that does acupuncture and that I continue to lose weight.
I went to see my person with the health problem today who was in much better spirits than when I spoke earlier this week, I think they are getting over the initial shock, my ds came too - it seemed to cheer him up having company - which is good. I don’t think he’ll settle until he knows the results.
From there we went to C0stc0 - I bought quite a bit of tinned stuff and split it and the cost with my ds - we also bought some of their massive cakes - which have been quartered and frozen out of my sightI’ll never loose weight if I eat those as they are masshoosive
. I bought a couple of Christmas presents for the gks. I spent £70 but am pleased I got good value for my pennies.
I need to reign in now though as I haven’t checked my wages to see if I’m on half pay - by my calculations I should be anytime now:eek: I do appreciate having had full wages since June though. We’d have been in a mess if ds had been dh off sick before he got his pension as he didn’t get paid from work.
We went back to ds house to watch a film, had tea and watche Strictly before heading home so a busy day.January spends - £587.580 -

Sunshine Girl - Yes we spotted armed police last week - very unnerving- but when you think of some of the recent happenings in town not surprising - a very sad state of affairs.
I hadn’t planned going out today but ended up in the big shopping mall near me which has a legoland. When we visited Legoland with the gks at half term - the little ones eyes lit up when she saw a Cinderella coach....so Grandma clocked this and decided to get it for Christmas. I was looking on line this morning and everywhere I looked was out of stock....so we jumped in the car and went to Legolands shop where we’d seen them. Luckily they had some in stock at the same price as everywhere else. So I got that for littlest and a different set for elder one. We had a mooch around the shops - went for a coffee in wsp00ns but I resisted cakes and a meal and came home to cook a veg heavy pasta and chicken bake - very tasty it was too. Whilst there I went in M&S to get slippers for my dd and son in law.I handed over my Sparks card - the till lady wandered to a more senior member of staff - I wasn’t sure what was going on.....but she smiled and asked if I’d like to use my 20% off voucher - I didn’t even know I had oneI never look at it. But it meant I saved over a tenner :money::D a nice unexpected surprise.
