  • Glad school was good. I'm with you on starting at midday, I had lunch at 11am today too :rotfl: as I was volunteering in the afternoon today. I hope tomorrow is good and you manage to avoid the school politics!

Thanks everyone. I’m taking it easy - bosses have put me with really ‘easy’ children, I usually work with the challenges so I hope I don’t get too bored. I’d forgotten how noisy our particular children are:eek: but I’m taking it easy - as easy as you can anyway... One little one pulled my arm and I knew about it so I need to be aware of that.
Food wise - I’m all over the place - eating sweets and chocolate like they’ve gone out of fashion....don’t know what’s got into me....(well I do..biscuits,sweets and chocolate :p) Debating whether I’m just throwing my SW money down the drain....how many times have I said this. My willpower is just non existent....thinking this might have to feature in my challenges....

Another half day at work that’s gone down well.....although I’m not sure when some staff got so picky and whingey....i don’t remember it ever being so bad....I ended up saying a bit too much and upset one of the whingers ....good job I reigned in and didn’t say what I really thought  anyway I’m not in tomorrow but doing a full day on Friday - I’m with a lovely quiet child which makes a change as I’m usually with the more difficult ones....( which I actually love :p)
We’re going to a heritage day in seaside town an hour or so away tomorrow - a tour of an old hotel, which should be quite interesting. I’m glad the 1/2 hours worked out so I could still go.

  • I expect it needed to be said Milann, but probably just as well you held back a bit :rotfl:.

Enjoy your heritage day tomorrow, it sounds really interesting.

So I went for the results of my blood tests and they are ok. Cholesterol and Blood Pressure slightly high and there was talk of medication again but I said I don’t want any and will get it down with lifestyle changes.
The heritage day was great - the sun shone, we had a trip around the hotel which was very interesting - lots of famous folk have stayed there and it has been used for many political conferences and they uncovered a fantastic old Turkish Baths in its basement which had been cemented over....and best of all.... it was free. The Pleasure Beach had a heritage day too- I used to love the atmosphere there and liked watching the big rides and I even had a go on some of the gentler ones - then they decided to charge over £20 for admission- so I haven’t been for over 10 years...it was lovely to have a saunter through. We walked along the sea front, had tea at our fave cafe then drove through the illuminations. I came home and fell into bed just before 10. My legs were full of the red blotches as I’d been on them all day...so I’ve taken more photos to show the doctor when I go again...
Ds is coming around tomorrow and we’ll go out in the sunshine somewhere :D
    Have a lovely weekend :T

Would be good if you could get the cholesterol and BP down with lifestyle changes rather than medication. I’m sure you could. Hope the red blotches on your legs are nothing to worry about xx

Right :(:eek:just paid virtually £9 to be told I’d put weight on again. I missed last week after my fancy afternoon tea - it could have been more :o I’ve gone back into the stone bracket I was never going to revisit....so my aim this week is to loose 2 lb to get back under it. How can this be MSE - over the years it’s cost me hundreds of pounds to get back exactly where I was when I started.....back to it with a vengeance. No wonder the slimming industry is making a lot of people rich...certainly no me though.
Saying that ds is on his way around and we’re off out for the day...mmm:D
