Not much to report - not been out of the house since I got home from Scotland- NSD number 4. Getting a tad bored and impatient - although a friend came yesterday with a lovely SW lunch for us both - which was very nice.

Another NSD in the house. I’ve decided I’m going back to SW tomorrow- my membership has been put on hold so I won’t need to pay for missed weeks. I can get a lift if I go on a Friday morning plus it’ll get me out of the house without doing anything strenuous or eating cake  My internet access to SW website has stopped though and I’m missing it as I use it a lot.
A bit of a busy weekend coming up - a drink with ladies from work - meeting in Wethersp@@ns at 1 pm....I’m making my excuses after an hour or so - they’ll make a full day of it - transferring to various bars later - I can’t cope with that these days. Then onto my friend who is 60 and having a small gathering at home - I gave her the planter I’d potted for her yesterday when she called around - she was chuffed. Sunday we’re going to her grandsons christening with a quick getaway to visit my brother who is celebrating his birthday....all or nothing as per usual. If I stay on track with SW through all that it’ll be a minor miracle.
My cc statement came through today and I was really pleased as it has my holiday spends, new clothes from Next and my gym membership on it - I’ll be able to pay it in full :D
My arm has been aching today - I suspect I’m doing a bit too much now I’ve started writing in my food diary a bit. It must be healing ok as I’ve had to stop myself as I’ve gone to lift things without thinking...it’s just short of 2 weeks until they’ve said I can lift with it.

It must be so hard not to use your arm, it's something you do without thinking. I would be lost without my WW app, as I'm a gold member and get my classes free I have to pay £6.95 a month for it but it's well worth it to keep me motivated. How considerate of your friend to bring you a SW friendly lunch.

And well done for being able to pay off the cc in full and still enjoy yourself :)

  • It must be very frustrating not to be able to use your arm much, but I'm glad you're following the doctors orders :).

It will nice for you to see your work colleagues at the weekend :).

Mmmmm.....not sure what my brain was thinking when I went back to SW on Friday - I was quite pleased I’d only put 1 lb on in nearly 6 weeks especially since I’d eaten lots of easy to eat food like pizza and sandwiches I could eat with 1 arm plus I didn’t hold back whilst away at dds and in Scotland..... I knew I had a very busy social weekend. All I’ve done is eat and drink all weekend.

Plans changed a little as the ladies from work changed the time of the meet - which meant I wouldn’t have made my friend of 55:eek: years 60th birthday so I cancelled. I’m glad I did as my friend who’s hubby had the stroke and had to go into a care home phoned to ask if she could call around as she was nearby. Anyway we ended up taking her out for lunch - it’s so sad to her as see she is adjusting to her new lifestyle without him at home as they did everything together. I went around to the 60th birthday after that with plenty of time to spare. This morning was a christening and buffet, followed by a birthday meal with my brother and his children and grandchildren - all or nothing. But had my brain been in gear I’d have waited until next week to go back to SW...at least I’ve got until next Friday to try to turn it around...although I’m having a girlie day with my friend on Tuesday :rotfl:her birthday celebrations are carrying on...

I’ve only actually spent about £10 all weekend- on bread and salad stuff on our way home earlier as dh paid when we took friend out and my brother treated us to his birthday celebration.

I’m pleased I’m not in work tomorrow as I’m so tired and my arm is aching- I managed to get ear rings on for the 1st time today and I did a mammoth workout and put nail polish on - you wouldn’t believe how tiring it was stretching my arm to the bottle and the fine motor skills of painting my nails - I had to rest several times....but it felt good...until I studied them later and saw how I’d smudged :rotfl: but I did it.

I had a bit of a tidy around today - I’m beginning to notice things that need doing that dh just doesn’t notice. So frustrating doing it with one hand but it’s improving slowly. I’m getting a tad cheesed off now but it is what it is.
I haven’t stopped sneezing today either - I’m hoping it’s hayfever and I’m not coming down with a cold. I’ve been taking my hayfever tablets - my worse time is usually mid June so not sure why it’s decided to make an appearance now...
My friend who was 60 at weekend is coming around tomorrow and we are doing something for her birthday - not sure what yet.
