  • Good news on the swelling going down :).

It sounds like the trousers were very much needed, so don't feel guilty for buying them.

Hope the trousers arrived in time , and that you have had a great time with the family. Plus that you have enjoyed your time in Bournemouth .

Arrived home just before midnight last night - shattered.com. We had a lovely time and I was spoiled rotten. The 1st night was at dds then we travelled to her in laws for a night - i felt rather guilty I couldn’t muck in helping with food and clearing up after 12 of us but I’ll make up for it next year. From there we travelled to Bournemouth and had a night in a premier inn - I think it was quite a nice Art Deco style hotel in a former life. We had an amazing sea view and balcony and it was spotless- a room for 2 was £52 - couldn’t argue with that (especially since ds paid) and breakfast around the corner at Wethersp@@ns - so ms e too.
My trousers except 1 pair which I’m still waiting for all arrived but some are going back - a tad too wide - ds said I looked like a clown :rotfl::rotfl:which I totally agreed with - just dropping them off on my way to the hospital.
We enjoyed our trip so much we are going somewhere else on Thursday for 2 nights - ds is still off work, dh isn’t in work and I don’t usually get chance to go anywhere out of school term - so it’ll be quiet and less chance of my arm getting bumped - so win win all around :T:money::T

Glad you had a lovely time and are repeating the experience :)

I used to love going on the Wii, still got mine but not used it for years. Best to take its comments with a pinch of salt though :)

Defo taking comments from Mr Wii with a pinch of salt SA - it’s hilarious.
Clown trousers have been returned, I still fancy a natural coloured pair which I can pull up with 1 hand- not clown style though a narrow leg.

I went to the hospital yesterday and x-rays are looking good- everything is where it should be and moving in the right direction . I went to physio - again things are going well. She said it’s normal for the shoulder to be affected as it’s all connected. Anyway she manipulated it somehow and it loosened up a lot- she just said to carry on doing what I’m doing - not to lift anything yet and see her in just over 2 weeks. We drove to Southport afterwards and had a walk along the pier before heading home. So it was like a day out. I’m tired today so a lazy day with just a bit of washing ready for tomorrow.
