If you removed the votes from over 75s, the result would been remain
Interesting, why should the over 75s not be allowed to vote ? I assume it's felt that they won't live long enough to see the effect of Brexit, despite having fought in a war to protect our right to live and vote as we do now.
Anyway, back to Aldi and Lidl. Lidl's cream of broccoli and Stilton soup is lovely, quite a strong taste of stilton though. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

You'd have to be considerably older than 75 for that, but regardless of that it's ironic that those who did fight against racism and the far right would probably be appalled at what's happening in Europe and the US.
The origins of the EU lay in creating peace in Europe - and it succeeded where all else had failed. Most people seem unaware of the history, which is in danger of repeating itself thanks to ignorance and selfishness.
Time to give the 16-18 year olds the vote - they have every bit as much right to a say in the future of the country as the over 60s who've voted us out of the EU for their own selfish ends.0 -

I decided to break my sugar fast for the Aldi mini-stollen as recommended by an earlier post, until I saw it instore. 79p and tiny! (I had incorrectly assumed the poster meant stollen bites). The 750g version are much better value. Instead I bought the finest mince pies, and they weren't all that either. I have no idea why I ate so many in previous years!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

The breaded chicken fillets from Aldi are great, especially in a wrap with sweet chilli sauce and salad. Their breaded chicken drumsticks & thighs, not so. Quite dry and tough meat and the bread coating quite thick, with not enough seasoning.0

Have aldi changed the cheap prosecco £4.99/£5.39 one ? the bottle looks a lighter colour these days and my GF said it tasted different.0

Has a current £5 off £40 spend voucher for Lidl been published in the Metro lately? If so, please let me know which day as I might be able to retrieve it from a neighbour that hordes newspapers. (Can't see anything on the codes thread).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

For me, tiny is good (in reality 4-6 small slices), and they are delicious (both the Apple and the Marzipan).
If you think them bad VFM, don't go for the Lidl version, as that is 99p.0 -

I couldn't help but compare the 79p on a stollen that I could eat in 4 bitefuls to the 6-pack of Snackrite C&O crisps (not the best quality but as good as Walkers) at 75p and couldn't help but think it was not going to give me as many episodes of ingestive enjoyment! It might sound penny-pinching but for me sugar is the thin end of the wedge. The mince pies can be easily resisted but I can see me going back for stollen time and time again.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
