Take care in Lidl.....the Dundalgan Irish Country Cream (substitute for Baileys) has two prices £3.75 and £6+. Same type labels.
The beef mince is cheap £1.25 for 500g. Tiger loaf gone up from 50p to 59p.
From the 8th...gammon is £2.49 per kg. and mushrooms 59p per 350g.

I think it reflects the different strengths; the higher strength (17%) is the same as the Baileys. I think it works out to be the same price / volume as the current offer iin Morrisons (£10/L). HTH.

Has anyone had a goose from lidl is the past?

They are so ridiculously cheap I'm sorely tempted. They are frozen though

Lids dark chocolate brazils are fantastic, but it has to be the dark chocolate version, in the red pack. The milk chocolate ones are nowhere near as good

Yup, every year until v/recently when the immediate family shrunk, so that I now buy the crown only.
You will be very hard-pushed to tell the Lidl one from a fresh one when cooked. I have compared in the past and yes the Lidl goose is that good.

Has a current £5 off £40 spend voucher for Lidl been published in the Metro lately? If so, please let me know which day as I might be able to retrieve it from a neighbour that hordes newspapers. (Can't see anything on the codes thread).

Just seen an advert for Lidl advertising goose, lobster and some other seasonal stuff. My question is, has anyone seen whole lobster for sale in Aldi?
