Is the mould in the same area on all the pitas? Could mean a tiny hole in the wrapper and goes mouldy by the hole.

Hmm, not sure. The last pack I spotted it in was mouldy all over, but I saw this one at checkout and swapped.

Previously it's just been small white spots.

Thanks for letting us know about this, I've never seen them in Lidl, but haven't checked their tea and coffee aisle in some time. The Aldi ones are very good indeed. Taylor's are the worst, I was sent some to review and three out of the ten jammed in two different varieties, not what you expect from that company.

I use a Krups Pixie Clips which is a pretty good little machine, although next time I want one that delivers more than 70ml as a lungo.

Aldi coffee pods bundles coming up.

I see the fruit bushes are on sale atm. Has anyone had any luck with them in previous years?

I can start them off in the conservatory and then transfer them outside. Equally I could just as well kill them, but I'd rather not :o

Yes Vf.....no problems here with fruit trees or bushes. Most are from Aldi or Lidl. Doubt you would get the benefit of starting them off in pots. Just heel them in or surround with earth/compost until weather passes then plant outside in permanent place.

I prefer the TR because it is doesn't shed (crucial after using Andrew / Double Velvet for the best part of 20 years), is light and strong. Not a fan of Nicky at all.

I've just bought a Nicky 9 roll pack to try (after using quilted velvet for years).

I quite like Aldi quilted, OH doesn't. He prefers Tesco Quilted. :(
  • I have bought Nicky ones for years but then tried the big packs of quilted from Aldi. We like that just as well and it's easier to stock up on that whilst shopping, rather than have to go out of my way to Farmfoods!

Completely agree with you. I don't like Nicky at all. As a long time user of Andrew too, I'm quite happy with Aldi toilet roll.
