There are no Tassimo compatible pods, not Lidl, Aldi or anywhere else.

All the more reason to get a decent bean to cup machine for less than £200 and switch to using coffee beans. Better coffee, far cheaper, and much better for the environment.

The Maris Piper potatoes I bought in Aldi yesterday were priced at 29p per 2.5kg bag.
All the other veg listed were 19p.

    I wasn't complaining though. :D

I'm going back for more potatoes, swede, parsnip and carrots tomorrow.
I boil, mash and freeze them (separately).
The swede, parsnip or carrots add a lovely taste to potatoes for a shepherd's pie topping. :)

I do know when the offer closes.
I will have time to do the veg if I buy it tomorrow.
I have time to go shopping tomorrow.
I have room in my freezer.
And - I have other stuff to do close to Aldi.
    So why wait?

And there's no need to SHOUT.

Went into Lidl yesterday, they were still selling 19p vegetables.
Also noticed the frozen chicken breasts have gone up to £3.50 from £3.33p. Still cheaper than Tesco equiv.
