Good and Bad Buys from Aldi & Lidl *Do NOT Expire Please*

Have issues with shelf life with Aldi
Lidl - is about 85% successful
I buy most of my F&V from Asda. The Lidl stores near me are a PITA to get to. Hopefully one should be built about a mile and a half from here next year. I will be able to walk if I'm not buying heavy stuff..
I get more value for money at Asda for the F&V as I use all of it instead of 10p less and binning a third of it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yay, found some today in the Meanwood, Leeds Aldi. Loads of No 1 and No 3 but No 2 scarce - had a few if you rummage thro the trays.
Got:

No 2 - Blackberry Bay
Yes they do smell wonderful!!!
(not too keen on No 3 though)0 -

Aldi today went to see if they had the candles that everyone online is raving about, they had about 5 boxes of assorted
Pomegranate Noir
Blackberry Bay
Lime/mandarin/basil
Had to search through a lot of Blackberry Bay for the othe 2 fragrances which must be most popular.
Got the lime/mandarin will try it soon and post back0 -

I am aware of the UHT soya milk and almond milk. Are there any fresh ones, or other types of UHT?0 -

After many samples tried (:o) the family strawberry trifles from Aldi taste better than the ones from Lidl
Both are £1.490 -
Noted that butter prices have gone up again in both Aldi and Lidl, wth Aldi being abit cheaper by a few pennies.
Might start looking for butter in other supermarkets who have a good offer going on as the prices between both are getting close to each other. The more I live, the more I learn.
