House in the hills!

My friend is looking for a stone house/cottage detached with great views, quite isolated, 2-3 bedrooms. He doesn't mind some work but not a complete rebuild of a wreck.

Any ideas where? Any RM links?

Only in that it rules the Cotswolds, the SE and a couple of national parks out. Apart from that, it makes very little difference. It's a fairly easy brief to fill - so easy that quite a bit of narrowing down is required.

    What narrowing down is required?
