Ditto cheap meat. I will only buy Yorkshire Tea, other teas don't compare. And Lurpack, we can eat anything as long as it has lurpack on it!! Everything else we buy value/smart price.Sometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0

I'll pay extra for free-range eggs, and organic/free range meat. But I don't eat meat more than once or twice a year. Oh, and good washing-up liquid, and recycled loo paper.
(Last time I cooked chicken I ended up mixing the yummy spicy chicken coating with the side-dish of couscous, and leaving the chicken :rotfl:)Old-styler, crafter and freebie junkie!Frogga's Amazing Weight Loss Campaign: Member no.20 since 2/9/07 -- lost 10lbWedding bells 04/10/08

Yorkshire tea, decent coffee, toilet rolls, Tesco fruit and fibre not value, lurpack butter for eating and value butter for cooking. I can't do margarine I've hated it since I was a child.0

Sausages.... can't stand the cheap ones with 'bits' of grizzle in them!
I also (occassionaly!) like to buy a nice cheese, although I tend to get this from the cheese market when I go to see my mum as it's cheaper and better quality than supermarket premium cheeses!0 -
Kellogs for cornflakes
Heinz for beans
Coffee
Kitchen stuff *
I'm coming to the conclusion that better quality kitchen rolls might be better than really cheap ones too. I think I need to do a "trial"
* I'll buy cheapo if money's particularly tight - but when it breaks (and they so often do) if I like it and use it often I'll save up for a quality version. Works out cheaper in the long run - and using good equipment (even something as simple as a kitchen devil knife) just feels so much better to hand, if you see what I meanHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Free range eggs - won't touch any other egg no matter how tight the pennies are.
Hair conditioner - having long, thick hair...own brand conditioners don't do anything. I like Pantene or Herbal Essence.
Anything with natural colourings, flavourings or sweetners. Won't eat artifical chemicals if I can possible help it.0 -
Eggs, meat (local butcher all the way!), coke, tea...
To be honest I try to buy organic or fair trade as much as possible but it's hard when you are watching the pennies...
I don't buy much from the value range, but I do try and buy from the slightly cheaper ranges and I am turning into the bulking out queen lolDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
