Read the thread working backwards. It would have taken less time than you spent writing all that to find the answer and move forward.0

Just wondering if anyone is going through issues with vodaphone regarding defaults?
They don't make it easy..
Phone calls cut off and say "goodbye" can not have online chat advisors are busy come back later. Can not make payment in store as they don't do that any longer, online States contact customer service so again your get the looping telephone line with goodbye.
My partner managers to get though once and was told the amount of £215.00, he asked to get a direct / standing order set up they said he would have to call back.
Our house is on the market, we were told no issues mortgage wise at that time. Now we have a buyer, went to the advisor and was told no sorry due to a default by vodaphone.
I went into store and refused to leave until the manager got us through the cautioned line, he had to our in a code to get us though. So that's great I'm sure every customer has a code to get through! We spoke to an advisor that told us 6 days after my partner spoke to them they had added an additional £208 to the original £215.00.Regardless I just wanted to pay it, the lady on the phone said we will call u back to make payment, I told her I would not let her leave the line until made the payment. So I had to make a song and dance to pay the bill!!?
We are now on stage two resolver, we can not move house so slchange of school andovjbv near my disable parents is not an option due to vodaphone. I can't sleep I feel sick and it's even effecting me in work as its all I can think about. Has anyone else had this? Anyone got any tips? Iv spoke to citizens advice and I'm contemplating legal advice. They were totally dismissive on the day of payment, couldn't give a hoot. :mad:0 -
Even when you manage to pay your credit file is likely to be wrecked for the next 6 years.0

Have only just noticed that there is a sticky for the most useless company in the world, so am hopping on board to get your advice on what to do now.
About 18 months ago, I took out a sim only one month rolling account so that a family member who was on holiday in UK could have easy access/contact with us all. When they returned home, the company I work for took on the payment as we had a temporary alarm at a site we were working on (not techie in anyway, but it sent text message to confirm that it had been set/unset successfully or if there was a problem on site). All worked well.
In Jan/Feb, the DD was cancelled as we no longer needed it, but, I was unaware we needed to and no one in the office contacted Vodafone to cancel the contract, everything was in my name.
Fast forward to end of April and for some odd reason, I decided to look at my credit report, not expecting to see anything untoward, so was slightly gobsmacked to see my score had dropped. Cause, non payment to Vodafone.
I immediately called them to find out what the issue was and they explained, fair enough. However, when I asked why they didn't contact me, I was told I had been called and sent a text, neither of which I could have received, but they couldn't tell me why they didn't write to let me know, they couldn't reply to that, but did ask if I wanted the service cancelled. Of course I did, I am very happy with my own provider thank you very much. I was put through to cancellations where they had the cheek to try to sell me other services "as a valued customer". Think they were rather surprised at my reply of not wanting to use the company if my life was to depend on it. Anyway, paid the balance and went home to a letter from Fredrickson! Din't worry about it as it had crossed with my speaking to Vodafone, but it was pretty impressive that they could get Fredrickson to write to me but they couldn't.
11th May I got home from work to another letter from Fredrickson for non payment. Vodafone didn't even bother to tell them that I had paid! Couldn't contact them via their preferred method of Live Chat, so sent a letter to Newbury on 12th May, expressing my anger and demanding that they correct all of my records. Innocently expected them to acknowledge receipt, and that they would look into it, but no such luck yet.
However, I have managed to get a 3rd letter from Fredrickson this week! I have no interest in speaking to them, in fact I quite fancy the idea of defending myself and possibly countersuing.
Any suggestions on what I should do now, sit & wait for them to reply, contact Fredricksons or something else? I would also like to know how the amount owed was reached, I thought I should have been given that information by someone.A smile costs little but creates much0 -
Update Vodafone has resolved the complaint I had with em I still am a costumer. I could of left but was happy before complaint went in.if you got a genuine complaint hang in there people I had a good chat with one of ther costumer rep and they have assured me they are trying to make amends
Please follow this. Do keep all correspondence. Do note the calls plus also don't give up. Do seek advice through consumer advice
As much as people make mistakes so do companies big change of tune huge change of tune. From me0 -
I hope you have more than their asssurances - or you will be in for a nasty surprise (unless it was from the WRT).0
