Don't hold your breath for a reply!
I've never had one (except the automated reply).
Vodafone are completely hopeless and I seriously doubt Lee or any other Vodafone employee monitors this thread in any official capacity.0 -
The bottom line is that complaints are deliberately ignored because they end up in trouble if they have done something wrong.
I honestly think that for my issue, that the Ombudsman - Communications is my only hope, may take a few weeks but they will resolve it one way or another. The same or similar option may help others in this thread.0 -

Hi, try the email route. I had to do that and it went through for me and generated an automatic reply with a reference number. There is info on this on post 241.0 -
I have been given a defualt on my vodafone account within my credit expert report, however i feel this totally wrong as i have not had an account with vodafone since last october 2015, were i requested a disconnection and closure of my account, i have spoken to vodafone over the phone and via chat several times and they have confirmed this and have admitted there fault on the matter, they then promised me they would sort it out including any fees and to address my credit report issues, which i have evidence of this on file. So 2 months ago my vodafone account was wiped from my credt report and i thought great at last sorted, then 1 week ago credit expert informed of a default on my recored - boom vodafone, this has destroy my credit history and i am at my wits end with this . Please help anyone .. UPDATE 04/05/16 2300, I have just contacted Vodafone today who have again admitted their fault and have promised to wipe my fees and to clear my credit report issue - however I have been here before and will see what happens with baited breath - I have also logged a complaint with Ofcom on this matter. fingers crossed0

You should by now have realised what will happen.

hello - can anyone provide any advice - i just found out today that vodafone have been taking £55 out of my account since 2013, on a contract i thought had been cancelled. I had phoned up in 2012 and discussed an early exit but refused to pay the early fee so said then I would see out the end of the contract and go else where.
I honestly didn't know i had to give written notice. I saw today on my bank account and thought someone had fraudulently been using my account. I phoned them up - they were awful, condescending and almost laughed at me.
They mocked - saying go on then take us to the financial ombundman.
i argued they could clearly see i hadn't used the phones or sent a text in all that time, nor had i once received a bill r communication from them. Nor in that time had i been offered a new contract, better phone, new data technology or anything. They just didn't care.

Can any one help or advise - i am distraught.

If you haven't checked your bank statements for three years and didn't give notice to cancel - a basic term of a mobile phone contract - I'm not surprised they laughed.Wish I was so well of I wouldn't notice that much going out of my account for 3 years. Then again, I'd never throw away that much on a phone contract in the first place.
You may be distraught, but you only have yourself to blame and no leg to stand on. You can follow the usual advice on this thread and hope for more sympathy from the WRT but I wonder what other money has leaked from other things if you're that lapse. The best advice is to check you bank statements every month - I check mine daily - and take contracts for anything seriously.0
