I'm not surprised your still waiting glad I sold mine now hope you get it sorted
  • So as a last resort, I thought I would try Vodafone's WRT135 complaint process, no surprise to see that after taking the time to detail my issue I got an error code. This seem's to be a regular feature with Vodafone that I believe is designed to put people off complaining.

My complaint started in August last year, 4 formal letters, numerous call's and requests for escalation or callback which have been ignored. in the 6+ years I have been with Vodafone, this last 12 months has seen a dramatic drop in 'Customer Service', which in my eyes is probably breaking numerous laws.
My complaint is currently with the Ombudsmen Services, but as they are a 3rd party dispute company I have very little faith in their ability to provide a balanced view and simply follow process.

Does anyone have experience of litigation against Vodafone, as I am now at the point of appointing a solicitor to represent me, however I am struggling to find one that is suitable.

I posted my original message in the hope of either obtaining a suitable solicitor to represent myself against Vodafone, or at the very least to get some sort of response from Vodafone as I thought this thread was monitored, I 'finally' even managed to raise a complaint using the WRT135 code, however it appears that they have absolutely no regard for either their customers or the complaints processes that clearly don't exist.
I know there was a class action lawsuit against Vodafone i Australia, does anyone have any experience of this in the UK?
Any help whatsoever would be very greatly appreciated...
  • I don't know what the best course of action is but I do sympathise. I'm in the situation where an account I closed in 2009 has been resurrected by Vodafone and they are now trying to extract money from me saying it is in default. Surely this is criminal behaviour? Getting any sort of response is difficult but having done my best last year they eventually said the matter was closed. They have now put a default notice on my credit history. I would really like to get them in court to knock some heads together, but how would you go about that?
  • I just wanted to say I used this link as a way of raising a complaint against Vodafone and would like to thank Lee for contacting me to resolve our contract issue. Lee was professional and did as he promised and has followed up today with confirming everything is resolved. I work in the Telecoms industry and have to deal with customers with contracts disputes and issues and always do my best to restore faith Lee has done this. Vodafone needs more employees like Lee!

My latest instalment is that my letter requesting a recording of the initial conversation has gone off. In the meantime I visited the Carphone Warehouse (another 2 x half hour visits) and they are admitting some of the liability and have offered to pay something towards my bill. The problem is that I dispute the actual whole bill!

Therefore my complaint, when I end up with the Ombudsman as I will inevitably, will be against both Vodafone and the Carphone Warehouse.

Does anyone know how long the recordings are kept for?

Not sure if the first thread meant to post my reference number for my WRT135 complaint form here or on the main forum? I will do both.
    Ref number: 12671488

Lee please look into this and acknowledge receipt.

    Thank you
