Update on above post. I wonder if Lee has got the hell out of dodge, bet he got absolutely clobbered. Got replies from people who sound suspiciously like a Live Chat agents and with the same line they've been spinning for over 3 weeks:

I can see that the open order for the collection bar on account will be completed soon. I also noticed that SIM activation request has been processed on the account as well.0 -

I have failed the vodafone credit check. Was advised to get experian report, which shows credit score of 545 and exemplary credit record. Haven't moved house for 30 years. No debts or bad credit history. The same thing happened over a year ago, so the problem obviously isn't going to resolve itself! I have submitted an enquiry form, as directed by Lee. My acknowledgement no is #12726840. Can Lee or somebody investigate and advise what I should do? Thanks.0

Ring Vodafone and ask to speak to the Credit File Department and only the Credit File Department regarding late payments/defaults on an account. I was put through and within a couple of days, they had been removed as they were not my fault and my credit check was showing all green with no late payments or defaults.0

Haha. Would do, but when I got rejected last year, it was with Three and also Tesco Mobile. There is definitely something amiss somewhere, which is causing a problem. Am I destined never to be able to have a mobile phone contract again??0
