    Feeling bleurgh today.

    I WFH.

After work, I forced myself to get out of the house and dropped my return item at a parcel collection point. They won’t pick it up until Monday so I expect my account will be credited next Friday. I will then look at the bag again as I should have enough credit to buy it (although I will still wait for a reuction or a voucher)

I got some yellow sticker bargains. MnS: Fishcakes, reduced from £3 for 2 to 75p for 2 and gluten free too. (4 packs) I had 2 for supper and they are lovely. They will make good lunch box items for work too with some raw veggies on the side.

My luxury item was a small quantity of truffle oil. On poached eggs, this oil elevates a humble ingredient. A little luxury is essential to me to prevent me entering a poverty-poor-me mindset and blowing my DF plan out of the water.

    Happy Saturday fellow debt busters

Woke up and drew back the curtains to a big dead fox IN THE MIDDLE OF MY LAWN. Called RSPCA and vets for a quote to remove. No can do. Called my council. It seems they can remove the body if I call environmental health tomorrow.

Unable to relax with a dead body so nearby. I used the adrenaline to clean my dining/work room. Floor steam mopped. Lots decluttered. Surfaces wiped. AMAZING what a difference a thorough clean can do. :)

Still feeling low. I can see a few other people here do too. Maybe the weather isn't helping. Anyway, the clean, clear, decluttered room is somehow calming. :)

I hate having to wait until the end of January before I can make a dent in my debt again :(

Burning sage and rosemary and sprinkling orange oil on the floor before steaming

Off to find more items to get out of the house

I hope your Sunday has been more relaxing than mine has

It is a funny old day today. The weather is making me want to eat rubbish and sleep.

Well done on sorting a room. I started....then stopped. I just want to snooze.

Bad news about the fox. Not nice to have it hanging around. I hope the council sort it for you.

Ha, ha, good point. Most stress and I want to eat chocolate and spend money too, but there’s a sort of stress that I can’t eat with or sit still, or sleep very well and I have that one. Off to hoover the stairs….

    Hello DIA,

Good luck with your second income stream. Do you use cashback sites etc? I started looking into this sort of thing a few years ago and came up with a few solutions. The only thing is that some of these second streams pay so little for the time you need to put in.

You know when you force a good day out of the universe? Well I did that…

I decluttered stuff to the charity shop, including a first edition of a book more than 100 years old to Oxfam. I hope they get good money for it. I don’t need to own it anymore. :)

I gave a stranger my paper as she asked, although I hadn’t really finished with it. :)

    I washed my hair :)

I bought healthy veggies and fruits. :)

I walked and avoided paying fares. :)

I wore eyeliner, tinted moisturiser, blusher and lip tint. I wore earrings too. Go me. :)

Despite paying promptly (me) and endless promises (them) I chased environmental health 5 times and faked a sunny nature to ensure they get rid of the dead fox in my garden today…

    GUESS WHAT?

THERE IS STILL A DEAD FOX IN MY GARDEN :mad::mad:

I am composing a complaint letter in my head…

Forcing myself to find something to be grateful for....

This could have happened in Summer. I am grateful it is winter.

    Welcome to the week everyone
