I am planning NSDs this on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the very least this coming week!
It might seem a lot in one day (I personally don't think it is;)) but if you weren't having NSD's and being conscious of not spending on certain days, then you could be drip feeding the spends over the whole week and perhaps spending more over all, not really noticing the amounts, or being tempted to buy other unnecessary things while shopping. When you are aiming for NSD's, you have to get your spending condensed into 2 or 3 days of the week so of course it seems a lot when you do spend. But individually, none of those spends are terrible. I hope that makes sense! :rotfl:
Have a lovely weekx

Thanks Beanielou and Orange Ena for the understanding. I have put the spending behind me and you are both right it isn’t so bad.
I was due to meet a friend this morning for a coffee but I cancelled. I finally got out of bed at 10.00!
I need a staying still day. I have had to get up and go somewhere every day for the past 13 days. Sometimes I need to stop and just be. I will do lots today but at my own pace and from my own choice.
Yesterday I visited a place on the South coast with a friend. It was wet and windy. There were rail replacements, but I still loved the place. In 3 years I want to move and I am beginning to visit possibilities. This place is a definite maybe.
So I spent £17 on travel, £4.40 on coffee, £8 on food, £2.50 on crisps and sweets because I became over hungry!! £31.90Next time I will be more organised. Next time I will take a tiny flask and some food with me but I got up late.
I’m making soup: vegetables, butter beans and miso. Making vegetable soup is always my beginning of getting back on track
I wish you all a fab week of debt busting and living joyfully

You do better all the time DIA. Fares and shopping had to be paid. The only treat was Pret but is it a huge treat? Not at all.
Well done on your second income. With the positive reaction from them too. All steaming ahead.

I think we can just continue the party as required *fills Ena's glass*
DIA, you're doing fine... nothing you've listed is out of order, they are just more visible because you're more aware of your spending.
Totally know what you mean about a standing still day.

Thanks MT and Rosa,
You are right Rosa I haven't spent excessively at all. I am merely more aware.I am removing the glass from Orange Ena's hand as the party is over. Back to business
Well, yesterday I took my standing still day to extremes and apart from eating all the wrong things I did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, but not in a good way. I felt sluggish and as if I had wasted a day.:o
Like yesterday, today was a NSD
So today on my WFH day I made an effort and achieved the following:
Drudge jobs
Washed-up, dried and packed away X3
Washed and dried clothes X1 and reloaded washing machine
Cleaned cooker top
Emptied, cleaned and relined dustbin
Food made
Sweet potato, Leek and chickpea burgers
Stir fried brussel sprouts
Booked
Tickets for an event in March
A dental hygienist’s appointment
Tomorrow I will be cleaning my bathroom and loo. I will also be focusing on reconciling my bank account.
I hope you had a good day too

I WFH this morning but off for an appointment this afternoon.
I reconciled my bank accounts today as I said I would.
Did I clean my bathroom and loo. Ahem, no…tasks for tomorrow…
A spendy day but somehow I can see what I have spent on and I had the items listed in my bullet journal as necessary.
For example, I got a small flask, very small to fit in my bag. Gorgeous design. It was £25 but I paid £10 TKMa33. This will easily make its money back as I’ve noticed I slip up most weeks by getting up late and then buying a coffee on my way in. A small tupperware (1.99 was £3.49) for a snack as I often fall down here too
I bought hand cream and body was by Balance Me. They were £14.50 reduced to £5.99 and £6 reduced to £3. I got one of each for a friend’s birthday and a hand cream for myself.:)
I have been going deodrant-less so lucky you don’t know me in RL  I like aluminium free deodorant and they are pricey but I got a Tisserand one today reduced from £5.75 to £2.99 so pleased with that
Stila foundation and brush was £25, now £5! :T
I got a few (reduced) bits and pieces in both MnS (£6) and Mr S for organic meat and veggies that were not reduced (£19)
I walked one way and got a bus back (£1.50)
I used my free coffee card and paid for a single chocolate (35p)
So my spendy day came to £60.85 but I am okay with that.
If I make Friday and Saturday NSD that will be 4 NSDs for the week
I hope your day was a good one
