  • I heard back. They want me!! I love it when a plan comes together. I plan to do 3 reports over the course of a year for this creative industry. I won't get paid but I get a Kindle of my choice to do the work on. (I've wanted one of these for some time) I get unlimited resources. I make valuable contacts and get valuable experience. I plan to monetise this work in due course. So, I am pleased :T

    Yay! Well done you! :T:j

Thanks Rosa for tip re buying glasses and for the congratulations :) You too Fortune

I've gone back to eating early morning frogs  as if I allow myself time I talk myself out of the thing I know I ought to do...:o

So, for the first time in 9 months :( I listed 2 items on Gumtree. One guy already wants to collect the item today. I didn't do my research and could have put another £5-£10 on top, never mind, just want it out. If it goes it will be a bulky item gone from my home and £20 in the kitty. BUT I hadn't thought it through...kind of not keen on him coming to collect it and too big to carry to a mutual location...???

I called the handyman (been putting it off for months) appointment made for a few days in early March. Won't have to take time off work as I will be WFH on those days. I'll find it stressful having him here but it's that or stay stuck...

At least there is momentum :)

I hope your day is going well

Could a friend pop round while the item is due to be picked up?

Aww thanks Beanielou It isn't that so much just having strangers know where I live. But I am 3 minutes from a station so I am meeting him there instead at 9pm, which is a bit late but the station is very brightly lit so I am sure it will be fine :)

I sold a mattress I bought years ago and it was cluttering up the place. It was for a single bed I didn't even own. So pleased it has gone. I paid the £20 immediately to debt just now and changed my DF shortfall figure. It's only £20 but it is progress and I am happy.
    Nite nite :)
