Thank you lovely ladies. :A And yes Rosa I will be prioritising a gym membership for March
Still feeling low but I forced myself to do just 1 thing that will push me forwards. I completed my passport application and sent it off.The money has come from the council tax I don’t pay this month.:)
I haven’t had a passport for over a year and a half, so glad this has changed now
I need to get real with my food shopping. I’m embarrassed at how much I spend on food shopping I could do a lot better, a lot cheaper, so my plan is to cut right back to see if I can keep it to just £120 this month. I’m sure I can do it.
Just over a week to pay day and until thenI AM NOT BUYING ANYMORE FOOD SHOPPING. NADA!!!
I’ve been reading other people’s blogs and their meal plans are much less fancy and definitely cheaper so this is a more basic menu plan…
1 Omelette or frittata
2 Soup night with hummus and raw veggies
3 Falafel and roasted veggies and miso sauce
4 H/M Burger, sweet potato chips and salad
5 Mackerel and egg salad with sweet potato mash and miso sauce
6 Coconut quinoa and adzuki beans with chicken/turkey curry and salad
7 Chicken/turkey salad
On Fridays when I’m in the office I’ll be going to MnS after work to YS hunt. (£5)
On Tuesdays I will walk or cycle to Aldi before work and do a weekly shop. Other than this I will stay away from the shops (£10)
I will do a monthly online shop for £60
This is my pledge
I hope you are all well this evening

Hello DIA,
You're so focused and so aware of what keeps you on track and yet you sound like you're being really hard on yourself. Can you add a "look at your life achievements" within your quiet days too?
Well done on all the progress you've made while feeling low and unmotivated.

This highlights I really am feeling down as just yesterday I received an email offering me a place on a creative venture I applied for. Only 7 people are selected and their work is looked at without their CV. It takes place within Oxford University and is hosted by an American organisation. Instead of being excited I actually feel scared and anxious and a bit of a fraud. I looked at the photos of past participants and I have decided I am too old to go as they look much younger than me.I don't have to reply until March so I'm going to ignore it for a bit and hope I feel differently soon.
Today the 2 things I will do is take a box from the loft and sort it and clean my bedroom floor with the steam cleaner
Today I will be burning clary sage oil as a mood shifter.
The week is drawing to a close. I made it. Happy Friday

I decluttered a basket, a large glass bowl and sorted through toiletries
I swept my bedroom and made my bed
I sorted the dustbins and recycling ready for collection
I helped a colleague with a project (although I am not at work)
I cleaned my toilet and made the room nice
I washed up twice
I sorted my receipt for my dental appointment and will post it later.
Not much today, but still going forward. I hope you are tooIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Sounds like a supermodel productive day! Hope its helping to lift the mood a wee bit?
Definitely don't make a decision on the course with how you're feeling right now. From what I read, they have offered you a place based on your work and on YOUR OWN MERIT. What does age have to do with that? You clearly deserve a place based on your work so it should be flattering.
I think you'd regret it if you turned it down, so wait until you feel a bit more positive and see how you feel about it.
For what it's worth, I think you should grab the opportunity with both hands.
Hope you have a great weekend.CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

Thanks Brizzled and JoJo.
I can’t face decisions right now but I will keep your comments in mind when I face up to what to do in March…
I walked 4 miles today. That and the unexpected sunshine did me good.:)
I threw away an old bucket and some very manky slippers that were very warm and got me through winter. They have holes in…Manky slippers are mood sappers so I got some new and washable ones from Primarni and tried not think about the children that probably made them at that price.
Slowly collating a gym kit. Got a hair towel for the gym, a flannel, flip flops, for the shower. I still need trainers and a sweat hoodie. I am joining the gym after I get paid so using the time in-between to get organised.
I posted the receipt for my dental appointment so I should get that money back
When I get paid I will prioritising my eyes and glasses.
Getting there, wherever ‘there’ is. I hope you are too.
Also, hoping you have sunshine where you are
