Thanks everyone. You are all so lovely and so understanding. You all get it because we are all struggling together. I could never share this stuff with the ‘real world’ where buying a kettle and posh tea goes without thought or comment…
Anyway, the fun is over and I feel quite energised and happy to continue my debt free journey.
I have been sweeping with the fab new broom.
Decluttered some jeans with tears (not in a fashionable way)
Tomorrow is a training course so free lunch for me, a late start and early finish, so taking my kit with me so I can swim before coming home.
Wishing you all a good day tomorrowIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I hope you mean jeans with rips - for a moment there I read it and thought goodness, if it makes you that sad you should just keep them...

I paid £1,000 off my debt today so I comfortably in the 4s :T
£4,320.00 left to go.
March 2016 was when I began tackling my debt
1 year and 8 months later (20 months) I have paid off £20,562. An average of £1,000 a month.
In July 2016 I became mortgage free so paying £1,000 a month became easier but by no means easy as I have an average salary.
I have told no one in real life of my debt situation, so the support of the people on here has been key to my ability to stay sane and pay debt and work my way through all the ups and downs.
I feel like I have received an education in money management, frugality and simplicity given to me freely and with kindness from all of you
I just want to take this opportunity to thank you all. I truly appreciate every comment that has helped me get to this point.
I am not there yet, but I can now believe I will get there
