How are you planning to pay for the solicitor?Gone ... or have I?0
-
With magic beans I expect!0
-
With some magical force called Legal Aid0
-
Ok then why has the solicitor said legal aid is available, and im in scotland so different law0
-
That was quick - two hours ago you hadn't spoken to one!
What happens when the solicitor finds you and your 'friend' as irritating as the Jobcentre clearly do?
I'll tell the Law Society (of Scotland) to expect your call!
My experience of the Jobcentre is that, if you are nice and polite to them, they will be nice and polite to you. So what has gone wrong in this equation? I wonder!Gone ... or have I?0 -
Actually I spoke to one 2 weeks ago and told them the problem.
Hmm whats that smell, its coming out of an !!!, oh wait its you.
You are a nasty piece of work, like to criticise without reason.
Cant you get it through your thick skull that my friend has done all he can, and its the jobcentre at fault.
What are you! a jobcentre employee who doenst want them to look bad or something.
It is a shame you have been rude to dmg24 now because they were the only person who had not given up on this far fetched saga.0 -
So im the bad guy, they were the ones saying stupid things and I retaliate and IM the bad guy
Whats so far fetched, that the system mucks someone around.
Just because something hasnt happened to you doesnt mean it never happens.
You call sayin imin cloud cuckoo land helping?
Not getting at you btw, just saying what I feel.0 -
I think that it is in the expeience of most people that the jobcentre do not single people out and decide to give them no bebefit.
If you keep to the rules, and are entitled to the benefit, then you will receive the benefit.
Just provide what they ask for. It may be a pain in the ae$e, but just do it and then if you are entitled you will get your benefit.
When i worked in Town Planning, people often wated me to do things that I could not because they were illegal.
Pub;ic employees, just like others, have to work within the law.
Just provide what they ask for.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

The JC do not single out people for a laugh and decide not to pay them.
Although you and your mate probably irritate the hell out of them, far from not finalising the claim, it would actually be easier for them to pay your claim and get you out of their hair.
They have to abide by the rules, which means they cannot just give out benefits without proof of eligibility.
From the start, they have asked for a P45 - and there has been reason after reason why your mate cannot supply it.
That is not the fault of the JC - thousands of claims sail through every week, because claimants supply the evidence they need.
The saga has changed daily - and quite honestly, it would have been quicker and simpler for your mate to do some temporary work while he waits to start college.
Lin :rolleyes:You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.
