I saw on the TV some person say it might be a good idea to buy your big ticket items now (TV/Fridge/Washing-Machine/Mobile etc) before the fall kicks in. Some people will act on that and again its going to show higher sales and activity
That might explain this.UK goods trade deficit with EU at new high says ONSThe Office for National Statistics (ONS) says there is "limited evidence" the collapse in the value of the pound boosted exports in August.
It was commenting on the publication of its latest official figures for the economy, which showed a widening of the country's trade deficit and a record gap between the import and export of goods with the European Union.

What laws don't we have the power to choose?AnotherJoe wrote: »Because thats what it comes down to, you are a citizen of the UK yet dont believe in its sovereignty, in the ability of its people to choose their own laws0 -
Which implications are they?
The implication is quite clear, if you cannot control your borders, who can live here and who cant, what your laws are, you are not a country in any meaningful use of the word.
If others outside your borders can determine what laws you must obey, with no meaningful way to change or abolish them, you are not a country in any meaningful use of the word.0 -

I'm a British citizen, so no naming and shaming here.
I also have no plans to go bankrupt, and am currently in the process of dealing with my own situation to ensure that doesn't happen. That will ultimately affect where I stand with regards to any expansion within the UK.💙💛 💔0 -
