Clapton do you believe the current (or even future) first generation EU migrants that come here can on average speak/read/write English better or worse than those locals born in the UK?

Do you think their wages/jobs position in society is at a perfect distribution equal to the UK born population or do you think its likely skewed so their position is slightly worse/better due to having poorer/better English reading/writing/speaking skills?

half the doctors would have left too

right, so if the population doubles the doctor count will double

sure if those people leaving were an even distribution to the UK age and jobs demographics. What if instead those people leaving were skewed to young people and people in lower pay/status jobs?

What would happen to those that remained?

excellent example of an extremist totalitarian state, suppressing the immigrant who are virtual slaves and with no free market it labour. it illustrates the madness of your argument when applied to the UK.

This is called the Clapton Dance :j

How many UAE nationals clean UAE toilets? How many UAE nations would have to clean UAE toilets if there were no migrats in the UAE?

UAE is a mad example : the usual economic dynamics are a little distorted : people are not both suppliers and consumers of goods and services:
if there was no oil there would be no toilet cleaners

i know you struggle with real world concepts, but it's quite simple supply and demand really.

If you've contractually agreed a price. Then it stands. What's the nature of the product(s)?

Absolutely, a contract should be binding. They're refusing the product(s) delivery, not just to me but to many others too. I'd rather not get into the details of my business though.

Just pass on the extra 20-25% to your customers.
If they ask why, tell them 'Brexit'
If they mutter that Brexit was supposed to result in higher wages and lower prices, try not to laugh too loud.

    Good business strategy. :rotfl:

That's a different matter. Obviously don't hedge their currency exposure. Rather foolish as would guarantee a margin.

I'd be off to Europe on the next plane to meet the manufacturer myself and deal direct.

Sadly for Britain business can not wait. Decisions are being made every day that will hurt Britain. Indecision and uncertainty are the enemy of business and Britain.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

If you read the small print in your suppliers terms and conditions it will probably say they have the right to increase prices or not deliver if major things happen. After Brexit the Pound fell in value. They probably had not bought currency forward to cover their orders so face selling at a loss.
This is normal and sadly are insulting your intelligence by not explaining the reasons by just saying "Brexit"
