If we vote for Brexit what happens?
Racism unleashed: True extent of the 'explosion of blatant hate' that followed Brexit vote revealedThe hatred that has divided British society in the past month features “F*** off to Poland” letters in Tunbridge Wells, wealthy London diners refusing to be served by foreign waiters, dog excrement shoved through letter boxes in Rugby, and racist abuse from children as young as ten.
On Theresa May:...she added to the problem by refusing to guarantee EU nationals legal status to stay in the UK.
“Her failure to do that has left children being told to go home in their school playgrounds and in the streets where they live. This Prime Minister promised to pull the country together, but her actions have done the opposite.”
Her refusal to guarantee legal status to EU citizens already in the country is nothing else but shameful IMO.
She could silence the 'send them all home' crowd by one simple announcement, but refuses to do so.In an expensive restaurant in Mayfair, London, on the day the referendum result was announced, a party of celebrating Brexiteers refused to be served by an Italian and demanded an English waiter. An online booking for another top London restaurant included the demand: “I want British waiter please. Don’t send any Europeans to my table.”

A sign of our times. Very sad, but the same story is happening all over Europe, indeed the world.
Absolutely nothing to do with Brexit. If I don't reply to your post,

26 Countries seeking UK trade deals.
The above map shows all the countries in which government officials or prominent business figures have declared a desire to secure a post-Brexit trade deal with Britain. Out of the 10 largest economies in the world, just two (France and Italy) have not yet made moves for a deal. Every continent on earth is represented, with 26 countries already signalling their intentions:Australia
Argentina
Bolivia
Brazil
Canada
Chile
China
Colombia
Ecuador
Germany
Ghana
Iceland
India
Ireland
Japan
Kenya
Korea
Mexico
New Zealand
Pakistan
Paraguay
Peru
Suriname
Switzerland
United States
Uruguay
VenezuelaThe total GDP of all of these countries is nearly $50 trillion dollars – 67% of global GDP. In comparison, the EU’s GDP of $16 trillion equates to just 22%. Britain is open for business and Guido will be updating this map over the coming weeks and months. Over to you, Dr Fox…

Can't read the article but just by going off the headline it's ludicrous for anyone to draw any meaningful conclusions about brexits effect on property prices (positive or negative) so soon after the vote.0 -
Just some of the global firms deciding to invest in the UK post Brexit;
GSK £275 m
Wells Fargo Bank £300 m
She'll £4 bn
Soft Bank £24 bn
The Germans are trying to buy our Stock Exchange
What fools for ignoring the politicised economist experts...
This is not an endorsement of Brexit, it is an endorsement of the quality of some U.K. companies which will now be owned by foreign companies who will call the shots if/when the chips are down. TATA steel ring any bells ?
ARM management said it was a "ARM founder says Softbank deal is 'sad day' for UK tech

I will keep pulling up the dross the Brexiters post up and exposing it for what it really is. How can you post this as a positive situation when the company founder says this is bad news.:money:0 -

It's a nice queue forming but nothing can happen until we know what our trading relationship with Europe will be as that will materially affect how we're able to trade with third countries.
I'm going to stick my neck out here and suggest the UK will have in the order of zero trade deals signed within 2 years of the Brexit vote.
The post Brexit sunny uplands are a hope rather than an expectation and years of uncertainty are more likely to be negative than positive. It may be worth it but anyone suggesting that right now is engaging in an act of faith.0 -
Note that Theresa May seems quite keen to reduce the minimum wage in poorer areas (i.e. anywhere that isn't London), so companies are going to jump on that and it'll potentially have more of an effect on wages than East Europeans will.
I always thought post Brexit that companies will have greater lobbying power and leverage to reduce workers rights and quite possibly payment to remain competitive. So I appreciate what you are saying.0
