If we vote for Brexit what happens

Why is negativity about anything from the weather (too hot, too cold, too wet, ad nauseum) to every political issue, such a characteristic British trait? I've often wondered whether it's something to do with the climate in the UK, because you don't get it in most other countries.
Also, is it mainly the English (and possibly Welsh) who are so negative? I am not sure about the Scots, though I think the Irish have a more cheerful, optimistic disposition as a rule.

Perhaps some EU workers have already quit the UK, a perfect result for the Brexiteers.
Do remember basic economics too many unfilled jobs is BAD. It leads to lower economic output and wage inflation.
However it is important to remember this is VERY early days. We should not be jumping to conclusions about what is a good or bad sign at this stage.
We all need to be careful. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

If there was EEA membership with free movement of labour (i.e. you need a job before you come) then it would appear to be a sensible middle ground.
Free movement of labour (as you define it) is NOT in line with the EU single market principle. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
If anyone in Scotland votes to leave the UK they will be voting for a situation which will endanger 64% of their trade - which is with the rest of the UK - and also needing to deal with a £6bn - £9bn black hole (plus loss of that trade). If the Scots get themselves informed it won't happen.0

But surely most Brexiteers will want a hard border. That was one of the basic reasons to vote out. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

From the UK perspective with exchange rates the way they are. A boom for NI trade activity.

There'll be no need for one. Why should there be? We already have different visa requirements for visitors and that hasn't affected the north/south border at all.
We discussed this two years ago
Sorry to quote myself from way back then but
