It's nice work Barry and definitely food for thought but the obvious elephant in the room is you're a racist. I don't think I could prove it beyond a reasonable doubt but on a preponderance of the evidence probably.
Who do you think you're kidding?
do you believe that people of all races, creeds, nationalities, sexual orientation etc should have equal access to migrate to the UK?0 -

Barry sobs himself to sleep every night, crying small racist tears of sorrow for all the African people who are not able to move in next door to him on one side, and the other side, and a Chinese family over the road.0 -
Interesting article on CNBC. I don't know much about the City of London and how it operates, so will leave comments to those who do. Essentially says that the next framework agreement could make things a little easier than they would otherwise be for the UK in the post-EU market:

the chinese family across the road is probably there because murderous Mao killed their family along with another 40 million. Corbyn/Abbott/McDonnell all think is was on balance a good thing to do.
Do you walk in their shoes?0 -
No but Barry's still a racist. You know it and so do I.
Play his game and before you know it you'll be wearing a yellow triangle.
Don't play into their hands by suggesting unlimited immigration under any circumstances is the obvious alternative to racism. You're above that and the internet points are really not worth having.
It is a logical possibility that there is a distinction between racist and non racist restriction on immigration
what is your (non- racist ) solution to restriction on migration in a non discriminatory manner?0 -

Being an effective city trader depends on years of personal networking. Just just can't up sticks to clinical Frankfurt or 39th financial city Paris, and carry on where you left off
The city will absolutely boom in the new western Tiger0 -

There's no real solution that isn't discriminatory. There's a difference between being mindful of the difficulties vs just not liking brown people.
You play Barry's game if you like but forgive me if I don't indulge you.0 -
do you believe that people of all races, creeds, nationalities, sexual orientation etc should have eqaul access to migrate to the UK?
my initial thoughts thinking about it for a minute or two (so dont take this as a manifesto commitment or a view after years of debate and thinking)
Personally I would welcome anyone who wants to come to the uk with an annual limit of 1% net population growth. If applicants exceed that number I would restrict by points and the points would be heavily biased to age primarily and then English language and then cultural similarities.
If adopted i would guess it would not change the EU migration much but I suspect it would greatly reduce the current non EU migration to be mostly replaced by American/Aus/SA and other native English speaking nation migration.0 -

I also don't think Paris is helped by the 35 hour working week that is imposed in France.

Germany's employment laws, aiui, are stricter too. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
