Surely not. And from a UKIP supporter too.

No – I'm no UKIP supporter.

    Predictable response. :j

If I said he wanted to establish it as a Roman Catholic papacy, would that also be considered racist?

Fed up with the predictable PC accusations of 'racism', to be honest.

Yes it's a great time to be a racist - you can come out of the closet and truly be yourself. Must feel very liberating not having to squash all those racist feelings down?

On the contrary he is charged with "promoting economic development and wealth creation in Greater London" so I cannot believe that he is prevented from speaking to the EU or London MEPs

He can speak to them, but has no power to take any action, thank God.

If she can`t win with oil at over $100 a barrel, she can`t win.

It will depend on what Brexit looks like. If Hamish, the most fervent supporter of staying in the union last time, would consider voting for it next time, if it meant staying in the EU, then you can bet there are a lot of people who think the same. The oil price will be irrelevant

He has no mandate to do so – that is certainly not within his remit. He is only mayor of London, and that office actually has very little power.

London voted to remain. The will of the people must be respected. Democracy and control and borders and so forth.

    Showing your racists roots there.

Sapphire has already displayed blind hatred for Germany which I suspect is because of his/her Polish roots. I am fairly convinced that someone who is clearly of EU immigrant descent voting out was basically purely because of his/her feelings toward Germany and the loony view that the lizard overloads of Germany have remained in power since 1952.

I'm sensing a way Scotland could vote for independence and solve her budget problems....

Strange isn't it? Farage's great grandparents were penniless German immigrants (the rest of his ancestors were Belgian) and he has a German wife.

Then there's Gisela Stuart - she hasn't even lost her German accent :rotfl::rotfl:

Boris Johnson descends from German royalty
