Found an interesting article, that considers the impact of Brexit on the countries who stay in the EU. Lots for both sides to take heart from.0 -

The referendum isnt legally binding on MPs.
Until Article 50 is invoked you don't actually know for a fact that we will leave. You are just assuming.
Can you honestly see that the will of the people will be ignored? I would not like to be the PM at that moment in time...0 -
...
Had the EU conceded on just a few common sense points, remain would probably have won, but as it is it appears the EU leaders have cut off their noses to spite their faces, and just succeeded in bringing more chaos to an already fragile European situation…
It will have been pretty apparent to the EU the achilles heel of the Remain Team.
The tag line "take control" was consistently being pushed by Leave because it clearly had a resonance.
I don't think people like the idea of a seemingly impotent government without any method of influencing a key area like migration policy.
I still think that workers who choose to work across countries should be recorded as "EuroWorkers" with the EU picking up the cost of their benefits in other countries. The EU needs to encourage the flow of workers in all directions to meet skills gaps. It was never supposed to be a massive flow from East to West.0 -
Is anyone else concerned by the Scottish posturing?
I think Sturgeon is talking already as though Scotland is an independent nation, when it is clearly not.
I think she is entitled to request another Scottish referendum though.0 -

Politicians ignore voters all the time. We get over it.
They'll probably just keep kicking the can down the road....
....it's 4 months now....when we get to October another excuse..
Most likely there will be futher negotiations and a second referendum.Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.0 -
I have seen lots of posts etc regarding the petition for a second referendum. I have also seen a link for the petition to block a 2nd referendum but, strangely, it states
"We need to check it meets the petition standards before we publish it.
Please try again in a few days."

Why is that, does anyone know?0 -

It won`t be, we are out, the EZ elites are discussing their emergency plans right now to keep the "project" afloat (or to get their own countries out) without us, any B.S to the contrary is just people waking up to the fact that their VI position has just been over-run.0 -

It was inevitable given the result. It won't happen until she knows what Brexit actually looks like and the potential impact on Scotland. Negotiating agreements for services will be more difficult than for goods, and that could mean opportunities for Scotland as companies may relocate to stay in the EU.0 -
Interesting take on Article 50.
Some of you may get your wish for negotiations to start sooner than planned.

you're probably on my ignore list.0 -

She is a nutter. Pushing this is going to finish her political career.0
