If we vote for Brexit what happens

Still does not change the result does it.
A very weak attempt to upset the winning side.
lol
I don't need to try and upset them, they seem to manage just fine on their own
The winning side need to pull their finger out and get on with things. Right now there's no plan and it looks like there's going to be months of political infighting before anything starts moving forwards. Add that to those people who voted out but now think they shouldn't have and it does indeed start to look like a Great Farce...

I think that EFTA could well end up UK + the Scandis (less Finland as in Euro) and that the EEA sans EU will equal those countries + Switzerland.
It will be a lot harder to tell a non-EU EEA of 100m people what to do than it is a non-EU EEA of less than 20m.
I agree, but it might also trigger other countries to leave the EU. Extricating from the EUro is (I imagine) more difficult of course.
At present the messages coming out of Brussels are hardline and perhaps reflect the thoughts in the Brussels bubble. What the individual nations will make of it I wonder.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -
True but we also were in the boom in the EU too.
Take out the EU and now it's crystal ball time. At least with the EU it was predictable to an extent and safety netted.
People may say at what cost and likely they will go on sovereignty and political cronies making decisions thousands of miles away. The access to the EU market is nothing to be ignored lightly.
Bare in mind for example the immigration problem people speak of from the EU, is actually non EU comprised
Our boom and busted did indeeed happen within the EU so I would expect them to happen whether we are in or out.
I don't understand what 'predictable' meansin this context nor do I remember anything being 'safety netted'.
As I remember the GFC, the UK instituted QE and saved the world and the EU sat on its hands and Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece etc are still suffering huge unemployment and stagnation.
Again I don't understand your comment re immigration.0 -

The leave camp played heavily on immigration and the 'they take our jobs' rhethoric.
The countries above are facing high unemployment and stagnation, but were bailed out, especially Greece. If Greece suffered it's problems who would bail them out?"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

We only voted OUT less than 36 hours ago lol.
Even you said moving would take you a while to do as it cannot be done overnight. :rotfl:
As for ALL the people that voted out that now think they made a mistake WHERE ARE THEY?
I have not heard a single person actually say that. Have you?0 -

They could give notice asap though- negotiations will take a while, I'm sure the Leavers would prefer to actually be out ot the EU sooner rather than later. Because like it or not, right now the UK is still in.As for ALL the people that voted out that now think they made a mistake WHERE ARE THEY?
I have not heard a single person actually say that. Have you?

Using the above link create a graph between non Eu and Eu migration, interesting figures and much less scaremongering than the leave camp would have you believe"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Like the remain camp, the leave camp has many views.
Do you have a specific point you want to make?0
