On a serious note, what happens to those of us that have spent the last few years starting and growing a business that depends on Britain being in the EU? Unless there is more/less free movement of vehicles/equipment/human assets, I'm personally more/less doomed, taking jobs with me.
Well if your business depends on Britain being in the EU, it could be time to find some honest work instead.0 -
If the vote is for Brexit, Cameron goes day after on a holiday to Panama..._0

One might note that Christine Lagarde is a life long EU supporter and an ex French minister : there is less chance that the Pope could be come become a non-catholic that Lagarde changed her mind about the EU.
Under Lagarde, the IMF have functioned virtually as part of the EU bureaucracy and have proved, to be not very good at economics.0 -

I was leaning towards leave at first.
When I found out Putin, Clapton, Galloway and Crashy Time were all in the leave camp, I realised my mistake.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

I agree.

There was a piece on R4 about this report yesterday. They interviewed a former IMF executive about it. His view was that the IMF is in a difficult position... the report was about threats to the global economy, it wasn't a specific report about the UK. They can't leave a risk out of a risk report if they believe the risk is there. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? all change brings risk
democracy always introduces risk : I wonder what the IMF assessment of the risk involved in the US elections.
but clearly there are risks about brexit : the largest is the almost universal belief amoungst the 'stayers' that the leaders of the EU will self harm their own people.
I find it strange argument but clearly believed by most of the stayers here.0
