Good for you........
Personally I want the best future for my children and grand children rather than my own selfish interests...
Good for you for thinking about number 1 all the time........;)0 -

Personal abuse nice one, well done you. Does that make you feel somehow superior?.
Anyway , back on topic. Believe it or not but outside your little bubble of a life there are plenty of people who look at the bigger picture and want the best for Society as a whole rather than for our own selfish reasons.
You may have numerous BTL's ,investments, etc etc but picture the scene. The UK in 50-75 years time when your children and Grand children are grown up and living in a gated community due to the break down in the Social Structure of the UK. They are nervous to about going outside of the community All because of greed and wanting more and more whilst the working class and the poor have even less.0 -

Didn't you spot the humour in my post, do I have to spell it out for you? OK then, it was meant to be saying, every time I buy shares, they seem to fall shortly afterwards, it was meant to be light hearted humour.
Maybe you need to work on your delivery then............;)0 -

Jesus get a life! I was making a joke about investing, then that investment falling, and my reply was in direct response for your totally uncalled for rudeness to me.
Now lets not bore the forum anymore with your antics, if you have a problem PM and we'll sort it out between ourselves.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Nope, still can't see anything remotely funny..........Just another dig at anyone who wants to leave the EU....Bit surprised you didn't manage to fit in a "racist bigot" kind of slant too.0 -

I've already explained it once, the joke (on myself) was, that whatever I invest in, the market then it seems to fall (I was actually taking mick out of myself, about my investment timing). The only thing that it had to do with Brexit, is that Brexit is likely to crash the stock markets because of the uncertainty, the markets hate uncertainty.
What makes you think I am having a dig at anyone, that wants to leave the UK? I don't have a strong opinion on that subject either way at the moment, I need to learn more about the economic consequences, before I decide which way that I will vote. At the moment I could vote either way, I really don't understand why you took such exception to my post. Here is what I posted in February about my Brexit position:chucknorris wrote: »I'm just starting to think about finding out what the implications would be (economically), that FT link you provided earlier looks like a good starting point. I feel inclined to vote to 'stay in' but at the moment that is based on not much more than a 'gut feel' about what the facts actually are. I owe it to myself to look into it, and base my vote on an informed opinion (or at least what I think is an informed opinion).
But that doesn't matter now, things have moved on.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
no real idea what you are saying but it would seem to be a white caucasian vaguely anglo-saxon world domination phantasy to me
you would be a better person not being part of this nonsense.
more likely it would be a mix race un-religion block to rival the other great growing powers of China India and possible other future blocks until such time in the future that the world become civilised enough to see and accept we are all related and free movement becomes a thing for all everywhere to anywhere0 -

only a fool thinks that being 'civilised' (whatever that means) is the block on the free movement of people
and only a fool doesn't know we are all related to the HIV
and only a fool thinks knowing that, provides a road map of how we live our lives.0
