Who are you trying to convince?Apparently brexit is the issue of a generation and the Tories decided to call a GE a few weeks before negotiations start. What does that tell you about their priorities?

IMO a Tory win is still far more likely than a labour win but if May reduces her majority by only a few seats you'll find the Tories will be so focused on Brexit that they'll decide to change leader.

I can't believe what a mess the Tories have made of this. Complacency and hubris is what's done it - at least it's toned down the worst of the boorishness.

But not on the part of ardent pro-EU protagonists it seems.

Merkel's welcome open arms call to all and sundry. May have consequences for years to come. Integration is a long slow process.

At times like this, the left take every opportunity to display thier virtue by framing others as nasty racists.
This in turn closes down vital debate.

The baying virtue signalling crowd all shouted down Paul Nutall as a nasty racist the other night for saying he wants a Canadian points based border system.

Ergo Canada is a nasty racist nation.

    Lefties are literally logic immune.

Your true colours are in the flag that you use as your avatar, and which we decided to leave. You, too, are free to leave if you don't like it here.

So you know who carried out the attack last night? How do you know they weren't British born and bred?

So to conclude that the EU is somehow involved is simply nonsense.

My comment was of a more general nature. Than a specific one relating purely to the UK. The EU is not as one when it comes to open door policy for that matter.
