The EU want to relocate the European Medicines Agency away from the UK. today we learn that the EMA has a lease on its offices in Canary Wharf up to 2039 and there is no break clause. If they leave, it will cost them £347m. Shame.0

It's what the 52% voted for. We can't stand in the way of progress.
There's a big fat gazillion squids a year going to the NHS any day now so don't panic.0 -

"German Chancellor Angela Merkel laid down a tough line for Brexit talks with the U.K., reminding Britain it can’t expect preferential treatment as she warned that some officials in London were harboring “illusions.”
"Addressing the German parliament before the remaining 27 European Union leaders meet on Saturday to discuss Britain’s exit, Merkel said the bloc will put its interests first and that talks on departure terms must precede the crafting of a new trade relationship. The EU is heading into the “very complex” negotiations with a strong sense of unity, she said."

That would be a cost to the EU part of which they will look to Britain to help with.
Hope you can post a source for the real estate information. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

Don't forget she's in election mode....
Also, that might play well with Germans, however, if I'm being honest, I'm getting sick of the threats - I've stopped buying European goods (unless I have no choice) - don't forget I voted Remain. If you voted Leave you must be truly sick of them.0 -
But just to show how schizophrenic the EU almost at the same time that was airing this was reported too.EU trade commissioner says bloc will do post-Brexit free trade deal with UK 'for sure'The European Union will strike a free trade deal with the United Kingdom after Brexit “for sure”, the bloc's trade commissioner has said in a major boost for Theresa May.
Mrs May has previously said she would be willing to walk away from Brexit negotiations without securing a deal if Brussels sought to punish the UK by imposing unfair trade tariffs.
But Cecilia Malmstrom, the EU Commissioner for Trade, has now said the bloc will reach a free trade agreement with the UK after its divorce from Brussels.Ms Malmstrom told a conference in Copenhagen on Thursday: "It's uncharted territory but I'm sure we will solve it. We will have a free trade agreement, that is for sure."
When asked again whether she was certain, Ms Malmstrom said: "Of course".0 -

I sign contracts sometimes and have to pay to break them.
It's not like the UK has been kicked out of the EU. Who do you think should pay your break fee?
1. Vote for a Government
2. Government agrees to spend some money
3. Pay that money.
You voted for this idiocy. Pay for it.0 -

Yes. It's amazing how often EU members keep reminding each other of just how united they all are.If I don't reply to your post,
