If we vote for Brexit what happens

This board used to be pretty good, with many contributors and a variety of topics. It now seems to have turned into a 'one trick pony' sad really.
I do look for other themes to post, but it isn't easy. Pretty much any economic story links back in the text to Brexit. I will keep trying though, and I know others do too. Plus posters like setmefree2 do a great job of posting the Brexit related economic stories here. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Apologies if this has been posted already, there are a lot of additions to the thread today and I haven't had a chance to read them all.
Made me think though about Kab's point about the difference between Sunderland and London:

These brexiteering snowflakes should get a grip."People have been angry; people have walked out of shows and people have booed. "
Somehow I think no matter how much we brexit, they'll still be angry. I really feel for them... (or maybe not)
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

One of the many delights of this process has been the general trashing of the world view of legions of Leftists, this being a fine example. I love democracy.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

I think this is true, and I would feel for them but for the fact that their anger is going to have some serious negative consequences for all of us.0 -

I don't know that it is that straightforward. I listen to R4 and get frustrated with the stereotyping of Brexit voters. They'll put on a faux working class accent and think they are ever so funny and clever making out people are thick. Yet totally oblivious to the fact that many people who sound like their parody voted remain. It's just the same old, same old... repeated ad nauseam. I'd walk out too, because I'd be bored rigid. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I should add that other brands of unsettled regional hotspots are available. It isn't just Sunderland, and I wouldn't wish to rub it in, given that they already have David Moyes as their football manager.

Everything is being linked to Brexit. When in fact many things would/will have happened without Brexit. What the talks will highlight. Is the fundamental difference in opinions on many topics between the various parties, and why the UK has never fully integrated into the EU. Nor forget that the bigger picture is constantly changing. The West may have dominated for centuries. But it's influence is progressively eroding.0 -

It's pretty clear that the current established order favours some people and some areas more than others.
That's always going to happen, throughout history it happens.
It becomes a problem when you get concentrations of disparity. Then, people are susceptible to the idea that there is a grand plan behind this gap.
What messed up Team Remain was putting Cameron at the helm. He represents the classic view of the establishment IMO.
Team Leave were clever, in that they painted the idea of "change" being all that was required. Take back control! Let's change our future! Free ourselves of the bad old EU.
The political class misunderstood the mood in parts of the country, and it seems the comedian class have fallen into the same trap.0 -

Yes for sure. People who thought the UK wasn't 52% composed of credulous purple faced anti immigrant xenophobes - who want to turn the clock back to the Suez Crisis - certainly had the smiles wiped from their faces.
