If we vote for Brexit what happens

Somewhat of an aside but there's a real epidemic lately of Remainers who begin almost any interview with the comment "I voted Remain but I ACCEPT the result". Almost as if this is some magnanimous gesture on their part. Accepting the result doesn't earn special credit! Only the lowest of the low DON'T accept it. It's just that there are a lot of them.
Maybe they feel the need to say 'I accept the result' because there's a real epidemic lately where anyone being just a teeny weeny bit critical of what happens around the Glorious Brexit gets labeled straight away as a traitor and an enemy of the people?
By the way, I accept the result.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

Then wonder why they get so vehemently challenged in forums like this.
Not very accepting IMHO.
Reasonable debate - and there is some, even in this thread - is fine and justifiable.
(Much of the current debate re: China on here, for example.)
Lies and deception are not.
As in suggesting that the EU is "a large developed market" yet China somehow is "a small growing one" when even the Aussies can get a $400 million dollar beef deal just as one of the latest examples.

Small?
It really wouldn't take many such deals by the UK for China to become a major export market now would it?0 -

The thing is that there are plenty of morons who think that using the tag 'Remoaner' is either funny or clever. It is therefore felt necessary to repeatedly point out that we are not moaning about the result but have serious concerns for the future.0 -

It's neither funny nor clever but neither are similar tags given to pro-leavers. You may not be moaning about the result but a lot of prominent people are and would stop at nothing if they could to frustrate the democratically expressed view of the majority of those who voted.
I had concerns about the future too but they were concerns about the future direction of the EU, a juggernaut which we were powerless to slow down let alone stop.0 -

Being an intelligent man I stopped using the term Brexiteer when a poster said that it was an insult. Prior to that I had thought it to be the standard term (indeed it has been used by Leavers). I have taken it upon myself to put those posters who continue to use 'remoaner' on my ignore list as I believe that by using it their intellect has to be suspect. By the same token anyone is welcome to put me on their ignore list if they feel it appropriate.
You also say that a lot of people still want to derail the whole thing. Surely this is actually arguing in favour of those who keep saying that they've accepted the result. We want to distance ourselves from those who want to stop it.
Finally, I shall put this as succinctly as I can - expressing views which are contrary to the direction of the government is not undemocratic. It is everyone's democratic right to challenge the government. Countries which do not allow such voices to be heard are by definition undemocratic.0 -

And yet you use terminology such as "morons" to describe those using the equally derogatory term "remoaner"?
You are absolutely correct that expressing alternative views is not undemocratic, but the wilful use of such derogatory terminology is certainly not an indicator of impartiality. The thing is that there are plenty of morons who think that using the tag 'Remoaner' is either funny or clever. It is therefore felt necessary to repeatedly point out that we are not moaning about the result but have serious concerns for the future.0 -
I stand by my use of the term moron as those people who continue to use 'remoaner' don't, in my view, have the intellect to realise that insulting those who disagree with you isn't the way to act. This isn't something that I've taken to do lightly but countless times it has been mentioned that 'remoaner' is highly insulting yet the term remains.0

So a little less uncertainty as A50 has been triggered.
All now know it is happening, Britain is leaving the EU. Any uncertainty about A50 being triggered has finally been put to rest.
We certainly live in interesting times and the next months will give us all a little more knowledge about how the EU and Britain will approach the first part of the negotiations, the Divorce.
I just hope there will not be too many tears. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

No, I don't think most Brexiteers have any issue with people who wanted to Remain or voted to Remain. The issue is with the fact that since we had the vote a large number of Remainers have done everything in their power to try to overturn it, just because it wasn't the result they wanted. See the difference?
I've known many votes that didn't go the way I wanted. I was p*ssed off. But I didn't go on protest marches or take anybody to court, or endlessly whinge about not getting my way.
I guess the Remain camp just got too used to the luxury of having their choice without anybody else even getting to vote on the matter. That's why they're so incredulous & bitter at democracy in action.0
