If we vote for Brexit what happens

I know many Leave voters, as we all do, and every single one of them has told me that immigration was the prime reason that they voted to leave with 'interfering Brussels' as the number two. Perhaps it's just the people that I know but my very strong suspicion is that immigration was the prime motivation for at least 75% of the Leavers.0

I certainly think and know voters who saw Immigration as the main reason to vote out. However the other driver was the "daily interference from Brussels" in Britains daily life.
What that interference (bad) was as regulation (good) was one of many Reasons I voted remain.
However it might now dawn on people that this DAILY interference will take a lot of untangling. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

Most people I've spoken to swallowed the lies on Britain becoming a huge global trading nation.
It already was, but threw it all away because of a dislike of people speaking in Polish in the queue at Greggs.
So, where are all these workers going to come from for these wonderful exports? There is low unemployment in the UK already and surely people to make the things to supply this amazing growth have to come from somewhere? Leave voters who voted on immigration can't have this one both ways, although doubtless they'll try.....💙💛 💔0 -
From Politico daily Brexit briefing.
"The European Parliament’s trade committee has compiled the most comprehensive official analysis of Brexit’s impact on pending EU trade deals and new regulations so far. POLITICO got its hands on a copy"
It links to a 16 page document that those who post a lot about trade might wish to read. I skimmed it.
Here is the link http://www.politico.eu/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/INTA.pdf?utm_source=POLITICO.EU&utm_campaign=4acf57ef40-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2017_02_24&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_10959edeb5-4acf57ef40-190026745There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
Hot on the heels of Blair & Mandelson advising the poor thick electorate that they were too stupid to understand the referendum vote, we have an academic in the US who believes their electorate are so dumb they literally voted Trump because his name was on top of the list.
I wonder if there will ever be a point where these elitist types realise that they lost precisely because the respective electorates knew exactly what they were voting for. Probably not.

I am concerned about the proposed merger between the Frankfurt and London Stock Exchanges. This should not go ahead imo.0

To really understand how Trump won I would recommend people watch a very rare talk by Steve Bannon which took place this week at CPAC (its on Youtube)0 -

If you personally don't, probably 80% of the country does. Does it not serve the same purpose as an ID card would?
I don't see how it's any different.
Perhaps your view is understandably tainted by having originated from a country that spent a considerable time under the communist yoke. I bet the state officials back then loved a good ID card and possibly still do.
I`ve been asked for and been happy to produce various kinds of ID numerous times, however the thought of being compelled to produce an ID card that only exists to verify my status as a UK citizen (or otherwise) scares me.
You can see the subtle difference right?“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
I am concerned about the proposed merger between the Frankfurt and London Stock Exchanges. This should not go ahead imo.Forty top eurosceptics from the worlds of business and politics have come out against the London Stock Exchange's proposed £21bn mega-merger with Deutsche Boerse, calling for the deal to be blocked until after Brexit negotiations. There was a solemn promise that the headquarters would be in London but as regulatory scrutiny moves to its final stages, and a pure Brexit becomes more likely, predatory noises from Germany become louder.0

Large pinches of salt called for then?0
