I have to agree with post 6 (Hornetsaver) entirely.

Not once in those first posts is there a suggestion of Brexit. Later on, who knows?

Is it just a coincidence that 2 MPs in Brexit seats have quit?

LD's have a long tradition of doing well in local elections, so I don't know if to read too much into whether the 2 LD victories are anything much to do with Brexit


According to the last YOUGOV poll I saw, something like 70% just want to crack-on with Brexit. Anecdotally I hear of more Remainers that are now resigned to / happy to leave rather than Leavers that regret their vote.

I think we just want to get the tooth pulled and get on with life rather than putting up with the toothache.

There's a significant distinction to "just wants it over with" and "actually wants to leave".
