Following the money will move many British businesses to the EU. Andrea Leadsom (who can I please remind Conrad was a Leave campaigner) has admitted as much.

There was a post circulating on social media (that I won't post here as it's not 'family friendly', and out of those I'd love the 'Brexiteers fantasy divorce', but it's not going to happen, I guarantee that now.

Yeah, yeah, the end of Britain, yawn. I do hope you will be warning refugees Britain is a terrible choice. Why does the Indian leader want Ms May to guarantee his young people can be educated in this dreadful Britain? Why is investment pouring into our tin pot island? Why is the money supply surging?

My views are that refugees should claim for protection in the first 'safe' country reached. For the majority this is Greece or Turkey. I also agree that with the current situation, we should be supporting those countries that need it, including resettlement to the UK where this will significantly support the first 'Host' nation, on a pro rata basis according to population, across a number of countries. It's clear that Greece and Turkey can't cope, so at this current time, it's necessary.

I also agree with the Indian leader that the scrapping of the post-study work visas was a stupid idea, as they kept the talent we have educated at a massively inflated price in the UK.

Remember, TM scuppered an EU trade deal with India, which is purely proving how desperate she is.

And with deranged nutcases like that, do we really want to target individuals as "enemies of the state"? What is that going to do for other nutcases?

I don't approve of newspapers that call people enemies of the state just as I don't approve of the disgusting 'momentum' hate campaigns against female labour MPs, nor do I agree with Corbyns, McDonnell/Abbott's support for the murders in the IRA or Abbotts racist views etc etc: however that is very different from taking the view that they should be banned.
You approach is shared with Putin and every vile dictator but I support your right to express that view.

I'm on par with Putin for wanting explicit hate speech (which is already a crime) to be banned in the press? Ok then.

We are the most powerful most experienced local military, to suggest otherwise is ridiculous.

Except, we're not. Most of our hardware is bought in from other countries, and we're not the most advanced or most prolific in any aspect beyond conflicts.

Plus, the papers are talking about another £140m MOD cost cutting measure today, with most of the losses happening North of the border (so they can use our decimated military as a reason not to become independent?)

If you think I'm wrong, can you provide any sort of reference beyond saying my claim is ridiculous?

Calling judges the enemy of the people isn't hate speech: the judges have often been wrong - one thinks of Birmingham 6, Tottenham 3 and numerous other corrrupt judgements supported by them.

In my view the right to free speech is more precious that your view of respect for the judiciary and I also think some of our laws are repressive and anti-liberal. If calling some-one 'enemies of the people' is a hate speech then millions of people would be in jail :just read the nonsense that toxic toastie writes and many left wingers : but I support their right to do so.

So you are defending a horrible article that contained mugshots of four people who were all acting quite properly under the strapline "ENEMIES OF THE PEOPLE" - clearly inciting readers to take some sort of retribution against them?

Well, you appear to be pretty horrible yourself and right in the Mail's target demographic so I am not particularly surprised.

Meanwhile, Brexit has now ruined Toblerone.

Thanks a lot Brexitards. Thanks a lot.

indeeed I am defending the right to free speech: the loonies left has always oppose such liberties even if the most hate filled vitriol comes from momentum and your frequent hate towards tories, older people etc.

It is amusing to see you defend those white, tory, boomers
  • Condemns the press for using
the strapline "ENEMIES OF THE PEOPLE"

Probably wants this legislating against or for the police to take immediate action.

    Then succeeds in epic irony:
    Thanks a lot Brexitards

In the world in which I would like to live, both you and the press should have the freedom to say/print/broadcast whatever they/you wish. The moment it turns to violent is when the law should get involved, not before.

I will remember you saying French and German workers ( not just car workers, I notice you keep mentioning only them) will gladly embrace having thier incomes and jobs cut just so long as some abstract notion of the EU project is kept on track, lol.

Follow the money, no one is going to go for hampering thier trade, but even if we have no trade deal at all, like Japan, USA and others, we will be fine, people adapt, the Govt will assist etc.

Britain has no ability to project military power internationally. In that respect we are behind France, who have a much larger standing army, who at least have one functioning air craft carrier, and their own independent nuclear deterrent.

We have some nuclear missiles we effectively lease from the Americans, and what conventional military apparatus we do have left is so integrated into the US command and control structure it would struggle to deploy on its own even if it had the equipment and permission from the White House to do so, which it doesn't and won't.
