Who knows who will be running Germany in France but one thing is certain, they won't win votes for is promising to harm thier citizens with trade hampering measures. People dont care deeply about the EU flag, they care about thier Job, thier family.

Brexiteers know in thier hearts trade will go on as it is, this explains our confidence.

You do realise repeating the same thing over and over again won't suddenly make me believe your views, they'll just make me (and many others) not want to listen to a word you have to say at all.

We've weakened the pound, that will get exports up, however what happens when (in the mythical world of Brexitland) the economy is so strong with all that global trade you keep talking about that our products become unaffordable across a basket of currencies? Oh, yes, people will start buying from elsewhere, especially if we're trading on WTO terms.

You also realise we're probably going to end up locked out of some FTAs we have now, meaning we're in a far worse position in the interim? You also realise that foreign companies will use that as an opportunity to buy British companies very cheaply, thus meaning some of the money that you want to remain in the UK will be going abroad, reducing the tax income for the government? You realise that this will increase the deficit long term, meaning our schools, hospitals etc go underfunded?

In short, whatever you're smoking, I want some of it........

Theresa May is sanctioning the faith in our legal system to be undermined by the press.

This woman is dangerous and needs to be removed from office ASAP, preferably via an election. I wonder if she's going to have the same attitude when she is forced to back down by the Supreme Court or (preferably) the ECJ.

do you think the PM should defend the freedom of the press to criticise the judges (or anyone else) or take the European view where the press are more tightly controlled

fortunately it will only affect the underclass who don't know how to cook a nutritious meal for their children or themselves:
I guess you will be heavily affected

They say you can tell a lot about a society by looking at how they treat their poorest members. This, in a nutshell, is why we are so screwed.

Rebalancing is long overdue, the trade deficit was unsustainable, and an economy based on consumption, imports and debt, illusory wealth.

How is this "rebalancing" going to happen without plunging us into a massive recession and destroying your precious property investment?

Where the right-wing have already murdered a politician for being pro-Europe, do you think it's fair for the PM to condone the press regarding 3 named individuals as, and I quote for clarity "Enemies of the people"?

Why does the PM condone all the hate speech/crime that has been occurring since we validated the xenophobes in June?

If the press is in contempt of court, which it seems potentially so here, then yes. There is a huge lack of basic reporting on the facts in 3 newspapers over the weekend, and The Mail is already reporting again on alleged corruption of the legal system this morning.

Undermining the very system that we need to have faith in, which is also the system that protects our rights as citizens of the UK is not a good move, especially from someone who 2 months ago was the Home Secretary, therefore someone who could be construed as admitting that they couldn't cope with the running of the Home Office in working closely with the Department for Justice, and therefore not fit for promotion to Prime Minister.

In short, a balance needs to be struck between freedom of the press and freedom of the courts to do their duty, and my personal opinion is that there is huge concern the former has gone too far in this particular instance.

Would you like me to start a campaign of abuse against you for doing your job? No, thought not.

The economy is sickly, reliant on us borrowing to fill the production gap, that is to say we don't sell enough and earn hard currency back into the nation. The importing and spending economy is not productive, and not sustainable. It's why so many feel hard done by with little dignity in thier work and unstable terms. We must create real jobs and give people hope. The last thing we need is people importing Chinese tat and selling it to people already in debt with no savings.

We absolutely need to sell abroad and bring back the money. Nothing is more pressing. At some point the markets were going to call time on our imbalanced economy reliant on debt and consumption.

I plan to invest in a further property as I see this rebalancing and reshaping of Britain as having a fantastic near and long term future.

And how does exporting require us to leave the EU?

You still haven't answered that, and it's not the first time I've asked.

Germany etc exports plenty outside the EU without leaving.

most of the world would love to become the poorest in the uk ; many will die for it so we must be doing something 'right',
however, I do agree we should break the cycle of dependency and encourage the children of the poor to learn and live worthwhile lives rather than one of minor crime and drug taking.
